His musical background encompasses House, Tech House, Progressive House, Vocal House, Deep House and Techno. That breadth gives the series room to move between melodic material, detailed percussion and firmer club rhythms without losing its underground focus.
After a period of introspection and creative revitalisation, Joshua returned to the programme with renewed inspiration. His selections draw on an understanding of how track choice and sequencing can create connection between the music and its listeners.

Floating Beats 426 begins in Deep House with Pablo Sanchez’s Easy Out in Baldo’s remix on Moodmusic. Satoshi Tomiie and Matthias Vogt follow with Love Unlimited on Lazy Days Music, keeping the opening centred on deep, patient club music.
Themba’s Exodus on Knee Deep In Sound brings in Tech House, while Evren Ulusoy’s Caligula on What Happens returns to the deeper end of the spectrum. These early selections establish a steady rhythmic foundation before the set adopts a more forceful electronic character.
Ian O'Donovan’s Medera on Heavy Reel introduces Peak Time Techno, and Model 9000’s Special appears in DJ Joshua’s 2020 edit. Madben’s Your Little Voice, remixed by Ian O'Donovan for Electronical Reeds, then brings a direct Techno edge to the central passage.
Frazi.er’s Mind Games on Elementra Records, Petar Dundov’s Raindrops on Voltaire Music and Clint Stewart’s Vaults on Second State Audio complete the programme in peak-time territory. The final run gives episode 426 a focused Techno finish after its opening Deep House and Tech House foundations.
