Deysa's fourth Techno show, Scientific Sound Radio podcast 23, presents the Romanian DJ and producer on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Deysa, a Romanian DJ and producer, began her career in 2009 with her "Friday Fever" show on Radio DEEA, Romania's premier underground radio station. The show launched her career and, following her mainstage debut in 2010, she rose to prominence among a new generation of Techno and house music artists, earning admiration from the underground community with sets heard in Romania and internationally.
As the founder of Underground Romanian Sound, Deysa has played a pivotal role in advancing the Deep House and Tech House scenes in Romania. Her passion for Techno has led her to perform at notable venues like Studio Martin and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, Space in Ibiza, Zebra in Bacau, La Gazette in Cluj, Arenele Romane in Bucharest, Control Club in Bucharest, Rivolta Marghera in Italy, Tipografia 5 and Piano Bar in Chisinau, and Illusion in Montenegro, as well as at Romanian festivals including Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, I Love Festival, Felsziget, and Electric Castle.
In 2016, Deysa was a resident DJ at Molotov, the premier electronic music bar on the Black Sea in Vama Veche, Romania. During her residency, she played alongside Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss (Faithless), Nastia, Jose Maria Ramon, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, Ali Nasser, Makam, The Model, Herodot, Simina Grigoriu, Ray Okpara, and Federico Molinari.
In 2011, Vibe FM Romania honoured her with inclusion in the Romanian female DJ gallery, and since 2012 she has hosted "Friday Fever" on HFM Radio (103.4 FM) and "Girls Go Underground" on 06 AM Ibiza Underground Radio. By 2016, she had also become a resident DJ at Molotov Vama Veche on the Black Sea, while her mixes had featured on Ibiza Global Radio, Kiss FM Ukraine, Cigarra FM Chile, Beatlounge Radio Los Angeles, ABFact Japan, and Scientific Sound Asia.
Deysa's sound has energy and depth. At the time of publication in 2019, she was set to release her debut EP, "Feelings", featuring Techno tracks inspired by her personal emotions and experiences, and was participating in the London Sound Academy DJ Competition 2019.
Deysa's fourth Techno show, Scientific Sound Radio podcast 23, opens with Architectural's A Girls With No Friends on Ellum Black before Lars Huismann's Seraphin on Children Of Tomorrow introduces raw, deep and hypnotic techno. Dominik Schwarz and A*S*Y*S follow with Destruction on Fe Chrome, setting a firm Peak Time Techno direction.
Regal's Still Raving on Involve Records brings in Hard Techno, before Keith Carnal's Rolls on Second Degree returns the set to its insistent club focus. Thomas Schumacher's The Fuzz on Noir Music and Glaskin's Paralysis on Hotflush Recordings tighten the pressure through the next selections.
Oliver Huntemann's Taktik (Alex Stein Remix) on Senso Sounds leads into Sam Paganini's Pulse on JAM, with both tracks sustaining the set's direct rhythmic force. Reset Robot's Conflux on Hotflush Recordings and UMEK's Environs on Tronic keep that focus intact.
Pig & Dan's dub version of Reset Your Bassline on Cocoon Recordings gives the sequence a heavier low-end emphasis. Dino Maggiorana's Underground (T78 Remix) on Funk'n Deep Black, Hollen's Elektron on Filth on Acid, and Teenage Mutants' Future on Set About Music then push the programme forward.
Spektre's Back Into Consciousness on Kraftek and Hidden Empire's Cashmere on Octopus Recordings add weight to the later stretch. Coyu's Practical Disorder Compulsory (Coyu Raw Mix) on Suara follows before Amelie Lens' Bassiel maintains the late-set intensity.
Victor Ruiz's Scorpio on VOLTA and Raito's Dark Ritual on Suara carry the set towards its final run. Onset's Cosmos on DNCTRX gives way to Arcadia 87's Speed Racer on Suicide Robot, closing the show with the same concentrated energy heard from the opening records.
