Bicycle Corporation welcomes guest DJ Giorgio Leone for Foundations 5 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is the Italian duo of DJ and producer Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. In the early nineties, Marco began his musical career as a DJ and producer, launching Urban People events across Italy before a residency at Pacha led to international bookings.
Born and raised in Torino, Italy, Stefano showed musical ability from a young age, studying classical piano, percussion and drums while drawing inspiration from Chopin's compositions and the rhythms of the West African djembe. As he grew older, the image of a disc jockey captivating a crowd became increasingly magnetic.
He began to wonder whether those elusive electronic beats, rarely heard on Italian radio in the 1990s, might lead him into a new creative chapter, and eventually Bicycle Corporation was formed. In recent years, the pair have revisited their earliest productions and established a Bandcamp page to share their restored catalogue with fans old and new.

This week’s guest DJ is Giorgio Leone. Born in Catania, Italy, in the early nineties, Giorgio was always inclined towards producing music and immersed himself in the DJ and producer scene from a young age. By sixteen, he was already crafting his own tracks, and by eighteen, he was performing in some of Catania’s best-known clubs, gaining momentum and recognition within the local industry.
Now based in Taipei, Taiwan, Giorgio released his first works, including Infectious and Call Me on the Neu Gravity label, shaping a sound that reflects personal experience through thunderous rhythms, atmospheric textures and electrifying energy. His productions have continued to evolve, blending bold basslines with an ethereal edge designed to ignite even the quietest dance floors. He aims to create the best possible vibe through his music, breaking boundaries across electronic genres while keeping audiences locked in with his commanding stage presence.
Since relocating to Taiwan, Giorgio has also established his collective and imprint Our Muzik, strengthening the local techno scene and building a platform that brings international attention to the region. His more recent output highlights his versatility across Tech House, Mainstage and Funky House. This includes The Time Is Now, released on Misu Misu Records in October 2025, Tunnel Vision on Misu Misu Records in July 2025, and the collaborative Make Noise with Robi Roka and SebDell on Revealed Radar in June 2025. He also delivered Slippin in 2024 on Misu Misu Records, Make You Smile on Going Hard, and Nobody with Cacciola on No Definition earlier the same year.
With a growing catalogue, a refined sound and a reputation for keeping the audience hooked from start to finish, Giorgio Leone continues to solidify his place as one of the rising names in the Asian techno circuit. His guest set for Foundations reflects this journey, promising deep energy, intensity and the bold character that defines his work today.
Giorgio Leone opens Foundations Episode 05 with Mike Parker’s “Disintegrating Sand” before Mark Broom’s “Let's Roll” establishes the dominant Deep Techno direction. “Let's Roll” is officially classified as raw, deep and hypnotic techno, while Julian Jeweil follows with the peak-time Drumcode track “Astral.”
Yan Cook and Robert Hood keep the selection inside Techno, followed by Ackermann, Sebastian Lopez with Flug and Thomas Hoffknecht’s Flug Mutation of “Push.” Drunken Kong’s “Impact” then returns explicitly to raw, deep and hypnotic techno, reinforcing the deeper character of the first half.
Jay Lumen’s “Mind” bridges raw techno and heavier club material before Flug appears repeatedly through “Onirico,” “Winter Mood” and later “AR02.” Rene Wise’s “Swamp Dancer” is another confirmed raw, deep and hypnotic techno cut, with “Pleasure Note” extending the same reduced and percussive section.
Confidential Recipe, Hertz Collision with Gene Richards Jr and Dajusch with Rifts precede Ackermann and another Flug production as the set develops. Cleric, Endlec and Abstract Division maintain the emphasis on tightly structured underground techno before Hertz Collision and Gene Richards Jr return with “Out Of Love.”
Giorgio Leone contributes his own “Green Bay” in the closing section before I AM BAM and Ignacio Arfeli introduce Peak Time Techno through “Rave.” Stef Mendesidis then brings the selection back towards raw and hypnotic techno with “Hunt,” followed by Keikari and Lex Gorrie.
“Simple Measures” closes Foundations Episode 05 after a set overwhelmingly centred on raw, deep and hypnotic techno with a smaller peak-time component. Giorgio Leone’s programming places established figures including Mike Parker, Robert Hood and Mark Broom alongside newer producers working within the same stripped-back techno framework.
