Bicycle Corporation introduce guest DJ Nandi for episode 15 of Electronic Roots on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, as well as a music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is the Italian duo formed by DJ and producer Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Together, they have released more than fifty records across house and techno and hold a consistent place in the underground scene.
Marco Mei began his career in the early 1990s, developing as a DJ and producer through events organised by the Urban People collective across Italy. His work brought recognition within the scene and a residency at Pacha, leading to international bookings and touring.
Marco Mei is based in Taipei and works across a wider South East Asian network. He is available for bookings through Scientific Sound Asia's DJ agency and broadcasts weekly through its radio station.
Stefano Ugliano, who was raised in Torino, developed a musical foundation through classical piano, percussion and drums. Influenced by classical compositions and West African rhythms, he later became drawn to electronic music and DJ culture.
As their paths aligned, Bicycle Corporation became a project combining musical depth and technical skill. Their productions draw on a shared passion for house and techno through releases and radio shows.
Electronic Roots 15 features guest DJ Nandi alongside Bicycle Corporation. The programme draws from a broad spectrum of electronic music, with selection, flow and underground culture at its centre.

This week’s guest is DJ Nandi, an Indonesian DJ with a strong passion for electronic music. His sets reflect a consistent dedication to sharing that passion, delivering selections shaped by feeling and connection to the dancefloor.
His approach to house music draws from a wide range of influences, including soul, jazz, disco, funk, minimal and techno. These elements come together through a refined selection style and precise mixing, allowing him to adapt to different environments while maintaining a clear musical identity.
Whether performing in a large club or an intimate bar, his focus remains on reading the crowd and building the right atmosphere. His sets are structured to create a sense of progression, guiding listeners through a cohesive and engaging journey.
He has performed at leading venues in Jakarta, including Jenja and Colosseum Club, alongside various bars and lounges across the city. His international appearances include Club Kyo in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Jiro in Kuala Lumpur and Le Noir, expanding his presence across the Asian circuit.
Nandi is also a member of the House Cartel collective, a group focused on promoting house and techno music within Indonesia. Through this platform, he continues to support the growth of the local scene while contributing to its wider recognition.
DJ Nandi opens Electronic Roots Episode 15 with Axel Boman’s “Pink Mist,” a Deep House release that establishes one of the programme’s strongest recurring styles. Legit Trip’s “Preparat” subsequently introduces Deep Tech House, while Janeret’s “Difference” returns to deep house with its stripped-back groove.
Doc Martin, Adam Port and Boys Noize broaden the early selection before DeMarzo’s “A Body Thing” returns firmly to minimal and deep-tech territory. Halo and Antenna follow before Kassian’s “Warehouse Discotheque” provides another confirmed deep-house entry, keeping the first half rooted largely in different branches of House Music.
PBR Streetgang’s Cinthie remix precedes Richy Ahmed’s “Italo 80,” which introduces Indie Dance through its slower electronic pulse. Super Flu then brings in Melodic House and Techno with “Trombarossa,” creating a distinct melodic diversion before Demuja and Larry Cadge return to house-focused club material.
Antranig’s Erick Morillo remix of “JACKIN’” leads into the episode’s clearest techno departure, Ben Sims’ “Freaks” in his updated version. That Hardgroove release is classified as Peak Time Techno, standing apart from the house-dominated material on either side of it.
The Deepshakerz and Marck Jamz, Midnight Express with Sabrina Johnston, and Sebo K with Metro move through tougher house and tech-house rhythms in the later portion of the set. Reno Renatama and Steve Bug then lead towards Floorplan’s “Save The Children,” a house release from Robert Hood’s M-Plant catalogue.
Cinthie closes the penultimate section with “Time To Move,” another confirmed deep-house selection, before Folamour’s “Ivorie” finishes DJ Nandi’s programme. Electronic Roots Episode 15 therefore centres principally on deep house and house, with minimal/deep tech, tech house, indie dance, melodic house and techno, and a single peak-time techno excursion adding contrast.
