Terence C joins Bicycle Corporation as a guest DJ for episode 3 of Electronic Roots on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is the long-running collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and classically trained musician Stefano Ugliano, known as 6884. Together they draw on decades of experience across house, techno and live musicianship, combining those backgrounds into a distinctive musical identity.
Marco Mei came up through Italy's underground electronic movement in the early 1990s, working with the Urban People collective to help shape independent house and techno culture. He later expanded internationally through residencies and performances across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Stefano Ugliano built his musical foundation through classical studies in piano, percussion and drums, drawing from both traditional composition and global rhythmic traditions. That grounding in arrangement and musicality fed directly into his work in electronic production and shaped the Bicycle Corporation sound from the outset.
Together, Marco and Stefano have built a catalogue spanning house, techno and deeper electronic styles through their Bandcamp and label releases, with a consistent commitment to underground music culture. Electronic Roots serves as a platform for that vision, bringing together their broad musical perspective with contributions from respected artists across the international underground scene.
Terence C is a Malaysian DJ and producer based in Shanghai, whose career spans more than two decades. He played an important role in Kuala Lumpur's house and techno scene and has a professional history connected with Zouk Kuala Lumpur.
His appearances have included line-ups with David Morales, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong and John Digweed. This guest edition brings his experience in Asian electronic music communities to Bicycle Corporation's Electronic Roots format.

AFFKT's Let It Burn on Mobilee Records introduces a more abstract Electronic passage before Yulia Niko's Kalimera on Mood Records raises the pressure with Peak Time Techno. Marsh's Little Darling on Spectrum (NL) eases the set back towards Melodic House and Techno without losing its forward movement.
Solee's Reboot on Future Romance and Sobek's David Mayer edition of Charmer on Chapter 24 Records sustain the late melodic focus. Mr. Tea's Powel's Bouncy Remix of Learning To Fall on Exotic Refreshment leads into Abundance and Parallells' Whitesquare remix of Blooming Flower on Sapiens, ending the episode with Indie Dance.

Terence C is a Malaysian DJ and producer now based in Shanghai with over two decades of experience across Asia's underground electronic music scene. His influence on Kuala Lumpur's house and techno community has been significant, shaped through a series of respected residencies and long-running club appearances that helped define the city's underground sound.
Shared bills have included David Morales, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong and John Digweed, the latter during Digweed's visits to Malaysia and performances at Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur. His career began in 1998 under the guidance of DJ Chris Doss, with early appearances at Cubeat and Globar before a breakthrough supporting David Morales at his first Malaysian show.
Venues including Movement, Backroom, Nouvo and Atmosphere followed, alongside regional appearances at Lush in Singapore and Liquid in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2005 he co-founded Altered Image with Callen Tham and Digital, a multimedia project combining electronic music, turntablism and live visual performance.
The concept won the Malaysian edition of the Heineken Thirst competition before touring Southeast Asia. Before the pandemic, he also co-founded We Love Techno with DJ XU, a Kuala Lumpur event series dedicated to the harder sounds of labels including Drumcode and Cocoon, which became a recognised fixture in the city's techno scene.
In recent years, he has evolved his performance approach through hybrid setups combining traditional mixing with Ableton Live integration. His Movement Control mix series reflects that progression through refined selection and a contemporary approach to house and techno.
