Rumesh, whose real name is Rumesh Peiris, is a Sri Lankan DJ and host of the Petrichor podcast series. Within Sri Lanka's underground music scene, he is associated with Progressive House and initiated Petrichor as a radio podcast series heard worldwide.
Rumesh hosts international talent each week through Petrichor. The previous week's programme formed this episode's second hour.

This weeks guest DJ (first hour) is Peggy Deluxe, Peggy Deluxe is a DJ who hails from Luxembourg, the capital of Luxembourg. Her DJ journey started aged 18 gaining her first gig in her home city.
Her career was groundbreaking, to say the least, being the first homeborn female DJ in her country and gaining notoriety for her skills on the legendary Technics SL 1200 turntables. As her love for vinyl grew she started to lose her early interest in popular music and started to delve into electronic music.
Peggy's favourite highlight of her career was playing at the Love Parade in Berlin where she played her first big Techno event and her break onto the European scene in 1998. Since then Peggy has transformed into a more Progressive House style and this is what she plays more often than not, we welcome her on board with her guest mix.
The selection opens with Cocho's Ataraxia on The Purr, bringing a measured Deep House introduction. Newman (I Love) follows with The Spirit of Renaissance on TRYBESof, shifting into Melodic House and Techno.
Cornucopia's Letter For Poly on Tale & Tone brings Organic House into the early sequence. Xspance's Ben Shaw remix of Fire Skies, released by Stripped Digital, then establishes the programme's Progressive House direction.
Slow Hearts returns to Melodic House and Techno with Sands of Time on All Day I Dream, before Max & Nim's Sand Waves in Newman (I Love)'s extended remix appears on DAYS like NIGHTS. Nacres follows with Deep Data on Clinique Recordings, returning the set to Progressive House.
Yotto's North on Toolroom leads into Yashar's Hephaestus from Soundteller Records, sustaining the Progressive House focus. E.F.G.'s dub.format remix of Inside My Thoughts on Balkan Connection South America gives way to Kamilo Sanclemente and Zalvador's Messier on Serendeep for the closing passage.
