Alexander Filatov is a Russian-based DJ, sound producer, mixing and mastering engineer. His distinctive progressive, deep and techno sound combines dark, bittersweet harmonies with hot deep and tech beats, as well as colder cosmic moods in his DJ sets.
His music is at times unusual, combining propulsive, hypnotic rhythms with ethnic and dark vocals and an unmistakable groove. It carries considerable emotion and rhythmic energy, inducing euphoria and setting dance floors alight.
The technical, progressive and deep character of his work is a hallmark, while his work ethic and attention to detail have brought him releases on established labels. Stimming's David August remix of Der Schmelz on Diynamic adds Deep House detail alongside Bolgarin's Nittis (Alexander Filatov). KAS:ST's Be Yourself on Afterlife Records and Blancah's Bebendo Vinho on Lost on You develop a Melodic House and Techno passage.
