DJ Marco Mei presents his 2020 show 07 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform working across China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia and other Asian territories.
Marco, an Italian DJ and producer, has more than twenty-five years of experience. His interest began in his teens through Afrobeat and the nascent electronic music scene, leading him to DJing in the early 1990s.
Marco’s early career took him across Italy before he played at festivals and clubs worldwide. He has shared stages with Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.
In the early 2000s, he secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm el-Sheikh and embarked on a global tour. His nightclub appearances included Arcan in Saigon, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Shore Club in Hoi An, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali and NLO in Minsk, alongside renowned artists.
In collaboration with Stefano Ugliano, Marco formed Bicycle Corporation, a duo that has released more than 50 tracks and remixes. Their work has earned acclaim from esteemed producers and DJs.
Based in Taipei for more than a decade, Marco performs regularly and is part of the growing roster of DJs and producers on the radio station. He is available for further engagements through the Scientific Sound Asia DJ agency.
His weekly show covers Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica and Techno. The February 2020 mix also brings House, Techno, Disco and Progressive House into the selection.

Re.You’s Merci, Monsieur introduces Afro House through RADIANT. Born Dirty and Diplo then bring Samba Sujo in the Blondish remix into the early run.
Biesmans’ City Boy on Watergate Records, TERR’s Energy Sync on Phantasy Sound and Johannes Albert’s Shan remix of Wing House on Frank Music establish an Indie Dance stretch. Gino Soccio featuring Shit Hot Soundsystem follows with Try 2 Take It Higher, before Sharam Jey’s Your Body on King Kong Records adds Nu-Disco.
Danny Howells’ Dusk Till Dawn precedes Meduza featuring SHELLS on Born To Love and Riley’s Hitmaker. Gettoblaster and Servante then supply This Beat on DFTD, returning the mix to House Music.
Nina Kraviz and Parris Mitchell’s Dance System and DJ Deeon remix of Feel My Butterfly on Snatch! Records moves the set into Tech House. Newbody’s SRVD remix of Moi Honey on Nervous Records and Marco Faraone’s In Da Club on UNCAGE raise the pressure through Peak Time Techno.
Armando’s Club Mix of We’re On The Move brings the selection back to House Music, followed by In Flagranti’s Dance Dance Dance and Man Parrish’s Jordan Nocturne edit of Boogie Down Bronx. Technotronic’s Raíz remix of Pump Up The Jam gives the closing a Tech House edge before Mr. G finishes with It’s Like Dat Boo on Phoenix G.
