Marco Mei is an Italian DJ and producer who began DJing in Turin in 1991 and has more than three decades of experience behind the decks. His early musical grounding included Afrobeat, while the growth of electronic music led him towards House Music and Techno.
Through the Urban People collective in Turin, Marco helped organise House Music and Techno events during the city's developing underground club culture. This work brought together a committed local crew and established an important part of his early DJ career.
Marco has played festivals and underground clubs internationally, sharing line-ups with Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg. His appearances have also included Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D’Void.
A residency at Pacha Club in Sharm el-Sheikh became a key stage in his international work. It led to appearances at venues including Arcan in Saigon, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Shore Club in Hoi An, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali and NLO in Minsk.
Further club dates have included Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City. These sets have placed his House and Techno selections before audiences across Europe and Asia.
In 2009, Marco formed Bicycle Corporation with Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. The pair have produced more than fifty tracks and remixes, and their work has been played by international DJs.
Bicycle Corporation's catalogue covers Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno, with releases on Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka and GrooveTraxx. The collaboration combines Marco's club experience with Stefano's production work across underground electronic music.

Emmanuel Jal and Nyaruach's Musumeci Supernatural Remix of Ti Chuong on MoBlack Records, followed by Joe Smooth's Gerd Janson Extended Remix of Promised Land on Armada Music, gives the section an Afro House emphasis.
Krystal Klear's Entre Nous on Running Back brings Indie Dance into focus, while Lifelike's Italo Disco on Future Disco adds a Nu-Disco lift. Legowelt's Younger Rebinds Remix of Disco Rout on Cocoon Recordings and Tiger & Woods' Machete on Soul Clap Records keep the middle of the programme club-focused.
