Deysa presents her fifth Techno show for Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, music-news platform and DJ agency connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Deysa, a Romanian DJ and producer, began her radio work in 2009 with the "Friday Fever" show on Radio DEEA, described as Romania's premier underground radio station, which introduced her to the Romanian DJ scene. Following her 2010 debut, she developed a following within the new wave of DJs and Romania's Techno events scene.
Her distinctive style has received recognition in Romania and internationally. She also founded Underground Romanian Sound, supporting the Deep and Tech House scene in Romania.
Her commitment to Techno has been heard at Studio Martin and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, Space in Ibiza, Zebra in Bacau, La Gazette in Cluj, Arenele Romane and Control Club in Bucharest, Rivolta Marghera in Italy, Tipografia 5, Piano Bar in Chisinau, and Illusion in Montenegro. Her festival appearances in Romania include Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, I Love Festival, Felsziget and Electric Castle, among others.
In 2016, she held a DJ residency at Molotov, an electronic music bar in Vama Veche on Romania's Black Sea coast. Her appearances included line-ups with Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss of Faithless, Nastia, Jose Maria Ramon, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, Ali Nasser, Makam, The Model, Herodot, Simina Grigoriu, Ray Okpara and Federico Molinari, among others.
In 2019, she was set to release her debut EP, "Feelings", featuring Techno tracks inspired by her emotions and experiences. At the time, she was also competing in the London Sound Academy DJ Competition 2019.
Deysa's Techno Show 5 podcast episode opens with BAAL's Lumen on Musica Autonomica, introducing Deep House before Darse's Alone on Be Free Recordings brings an Electronica edge. Betoko and Kastis Torrau's Dosya on Einmusika Recordings then establishes the set's Melodic House and Techno direction.
Barnt's Cherry Red, in the Tale Of Us and Recondite remix on Magazine, deepens that melodic tension. Daniel Jaeger's Greta on KATERMUKKE follows with another focused melodic Techno selection.
Alex Niggemann's Convection on Aeon raises the pressure through Peak Time Techno. Eitan Reiter's Ups & Downs, in the A. Balter and Eitan Reiter remix on Pino Music, sustains that firmer club-focused pace.
D-Formation's Sian on BeatFreak Recordings introduces Progressive House without abandoning the set's darker melodic line. Denis Horvat and Lelah's Noise on Afterlife Records returns to Melodic House and Techno with vocals set against a taut electronic framework.
BLOND:ISH's Endless Games, in Patrice Baumel's remix on Kompakt, turns towards Tech House. Dino Lenny's Living In A Song in the Gardens Of God remix on Ellum Audio and DKA and Jon Mosto's Locked Groove remix of Savana on Brüxsel Jardin keep the rhythm direct and controlled.
Hunter/Game's Hexagon on Kompakt carries that Tech House momentum into the final stretch. Gui Boratto's Matryoshka on Kompakt Extra restores Peak Time Techno before Ingenium's Samotarev remix of Aspiration on Green Snake Records closes with Progressive House.
