Deysa's Techno Show 3, podcast 18, presents the Romanian DJ and producer's third Techno Show on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Deysa, a Romanian DJ and producer, made her mark on the electronic music scene in 2009 with her "Friday Fever" show on Radio DEEA, one of Romania’s prominent underground radio stations. The exposure was pivotal in launching her DJ career, and, after her mainstage debut in 2010, she became a leading figure among a new generation of techno and house music artists who performed locally and internationally.
As a co-founder of Underground Romanian Sound, Deysa has played a crucial role in advancing the deep house and techno scenes in Romania. Her music has taken her to Studio Martin and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, Space in Ibiza, Zebra in Bacau, La Gazette in Cluj, Arenele Romane and Control Club in Bucharest, Rivolta Marghera in Italy, Tipografia 5 and Piano Bar in Chisinau, Illusion in Montenegro, and Romanian festivals including Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, I Love Festival, Felsziget and Electric Castle.
In 2016, Deysa was the resident DJ at Molotov, the leading electronic music bar on the Black Sea in Vama Veche, Romania. She shared the stage with Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss of Faithless, Nastia, Jose Maria Ramon, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, Ali Nasser, Makam, The Model, Herodot, Simina Grigoriu, Ray Okpara and Federico Molinari.
Recognised by Vibe FM Romania in 2011, Deysa earned a place in the Romanian female DJ gallery. Since 2012, she has hosted "Friday Fever" on HFM Radio 103.4 FM and "Girls Go Underground" on 06 AM Ibiza Underground Radio, while by 2016 she had established herself as Molotov Vama Veche's resident DJ.
Her mixes have been broadcast on Ibiza Global Radio, Kiss FM Ukraine, Cigarra FM Chile, Beatlounge Radio Los Angeles and ABFact Japan, and she launched her debut EP, Feelings, in 2019. The EP features techno tracks inspired by her personal emotions and experiences.
Podcast 18 opens after Massa's Ehter with 747's Aurora Centralis on Aquaregia and Introversion's Kasst remix of Call To Adventure on KONFLKT. Antonio Ferre's Abstraktion for Dlmpsoundrecordings and Sound Knight's Nullify on Raise Recordings establish the Peak Time Techno focus.
Kevin Coshner's We Call It! on Minimal Mania brings in Deep Tech House before Strobetech's NHB remix of Apocalypto on Kidz Luv Tekkno introduces Tech House. Charles Fenckler's Flirting With Disaster on Soma Records and Dusty Kid's Sysma on Suara return the programme to peak-time pressure.
P.E.A.R.L.'s The Golden Dawn on Falling Ethics turns towards Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic), followed by Druummer's Kenji on Minimal Illumination. Mike Monday's Audiojack remix of Zum Zum on Great Stuff Recordings brings in Techno, while Michael Dorlitz's Guarana on Dlmpsoundrecordings restores the deeper club rhythm.
Falency's Lightning on Kidz Luv Tekkno adds another Tech House passage before Mozzy's Tourniquet on Minimal Mania moves back into Deep Tech House. Etapp Kyle's Continuum on Unterton then raises the intensity with a peak-time selection.
Alessandro Adriani's Harvest on Mannequin keeps the peak-time approach firm before Etapp Kyle's Drama on Klockworks returns to raw, deep and hypnotic territory. Re:Axis follows with Transversal on Monocline Records, extending the techno momentum into the programme's final stretch.
Audiojack's Robot on Audiojack Music supplies a final Deep Tech House diversion before Par Grindvik's Dawn on Stockholm LTD darkens the tone. Shifted closes the selection with Control on Mote Evolver, leaving the set in its raw and hypnotic techno mode.
