TRAX Mission Radio Show – EP305 introduces Carmelo Carone’s established radio series to Scientific Sound Asia, with the station carrying the programme from this episode onwards. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
The show will air on the last Thursday of every month from 10 PM until midnight ICT. Carmelo Carone brings more than three decades of experience as a DJ, producer, remixer, label manager and radio host to the Scientific Sound Asia schedule.
Active since the early 1990s, Carmelo has worked across House, Techno and related areas of electronic music while maintaining close links with the roots of club culture. His studio work includes official mixes, remixes and reworks connected with Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard under his Mr. Fingers identity, Todd Terry and Robert Owens.
He also compiled the official Lufthansa DJ mix albums Phenomenon in 2018 and Orion in 2024 for Drizzly Music. Carmelo additionally compiled and mastered the soundtrack for the Vamp Bikers film trilogy, extending his studio work beyond conventional club releases.
Radio has remained an important part of his career, with his music receiving support from BBC, CBS Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Proton Radio, Frisky Radio and Kiss FM UK. His broadcasting experience adds another dimension to a career already shaped by production, DJing and label work.
Between 2015 and 2017, Carmelo worked as Label Manager and A&R for Trax Records Chicago during a period connected with the label’s relaunch. He also worked as Label Manager for FOEM Music Communication Agency, contributing to projects involving artists and events including Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Carl Craig, David Guetta, Space Ibiza and Ultra Music Festival.
His recent catalogue includes Acid Rainbow and Bloom through IMMORTALIS, followed by a substantial run of Trax Records releases in 2026. MILAN TOKYO, TRAVELLER, SUGO, ACID RAINBOW, CONSTELLATION, DESTINY, BLOOM and TORMENTO all form part of that period.
Further 2026 releases include Night Vision on Solaris Records, Quantic through Trax Mission and Endorphine on Van Czar Series. His remix work with Al-Faris on Tom Tom Club’s Love to Love You Baby adds another project to a catalogue spanning House, Techno, Electronica and melodic electronic music.
Episode 305 begins Carmelo Carone’s monthly presence on Scientific Sound Asia and introduces his selections to the station’s listeners across Asia and internationally. His wider work can also be followed through Facebook, Resident Advisor and Beatport.
Carmelo Carone opens TRAX Mission Radio Show EP305 with Patch's What To Do, setting a Deep House foundation before Kyle Watson and Walker & Royce push into Tech House with Losing Focus. 16BL's YUM@ then introduces Melodic House and Techno, while Millero and Eric Reyes add an Indie Dance turn through What's On Your Mind.
Quivver's Disconnect brings the first Progressive House selection before Romax returns the set to deeper territory with Motion Decade. Roxe's Stars Align adds a straighter House Music groove, followed by Vaderat and Czerniak's Destination before Xpansul's remix of Robert Armani's Circus Bells supplies the first Peak Time Techno surge.
Dairo and Roman Cleiss restore the melodic direction with Bad Habbit, while Jamie Stevens and Christian Smith return the programme to progressive territory through Hivemind. The Botanist and Jackie bring House back into the mix before Eseym's Falling and Salif Keïta, MoBlack, Bedouin and Feki Station's Mandjou introduce contrasting Progressive and Afro House passages.
Caputi's Panacea tightens the rhythm with another Tech House cut before Dusky and Rromarin bring a deeper, more atmospheric turn through Next Life. Dharma's Sphere then raises the intensity with another peak-time Techno selection, followed by Quivver's Burned and Nicolas Barnes' When It Goes, which introduces the episode's sole Deep Tech House track.
MOSHIC's Thousend Miles begins the closing stretch in Progressive House before Noah Levin's Love the Planet shifts briefly back towards Tech House. Envotion and MOSHIC then continue the progressive run through Call The Drum and To Be Human After All, leading into DJ Jace's Rave Culture and Eric Luttrell's LOVE for a melodic finish.
Across EP305, Carmelo Carone builds a wide-ranging underground selection with Progressive House at its centre, supported by melodic, deep and tech-led material. The episode also draws on House, Indie Dance, Afro House and Peak Time Techno, giving the programme plenty of variation while maintaining a coherent club-focused progression.
Listen live on Thursday, 29th October 2026, from 10 PM to 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT), with a repeat on Monday, from 10 AM to 12 PM ICT.
