Reinoud Van Toledo and Jack Delhi to perform third show

Reinoud van Toledo and Jack Delhi present episode 3 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an expatriate and local underground electronic music radio station for India, China, Sri Lanka and the rest of Asia, as well as a DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform.

The two artists have crossed paths through Amsterdam’s electronic music scene over the years, appearing together in club settings and shared music spaces. Their guest mix brings that connection into focus through a selection shaped by their experience of Dutch underground culture.

Reinoud van Toledo is a Dutch DJ and Producer who began DJing in clubs and producing in the early 1990s, with his first releases appearing in 1995 on ID&T Records and Outland Records. In 2014, he collaborated with Amsterdam Techno DJ Dimitri and had a major release on Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications.

After several years making Techno, he returned to his long-standing love of House Music and has countless releases on labels including Stiletto Records, Kolour Recordings, Silhouette Records, Jambalay Records and Frame Workxx Records. He also released his new album Boogie Bar on Italy’s Kattivo Records.

Jack Delhi, the man with the golden smile from Amsterdam, has loved music since childhood. He wore his father’s headphones while still in diapers and has not lived without music since.

His passion for turntables came later, in 2005, when he met Manual Point Perspective, who was often on line-ups with Benny Rodriguez. Manual taught him the ins and outs of DJing after becoming a resident at the popular Vriendjespolitiek and House Your Day events.

In 2015, Jack Delhi became well known across the Netherlands, playing festivals including We Are Electric, Paaspop and Lake Dance, as well as major Amsterdam clubs each week. As his popularity grew, he began producing with his buddy Reinoud van Toledo, and together they created tracks such as New Berlin.

Jack Delhi is a DJ known for energy, enthusiasm and power behind the decks. His Tech House sound combines vocals with House classics.

Episode 3 opens in Tech House territory with L.O.O.P. and Slimcat’s Daddy Is Gonna Work on House Of Bangerz, followed by Apollo 84’s Jungle Disco on Under No Illusion. Chinonegro and Cris Ocana’s Tonight Outside then leads into Mirko Di Florio’s Maya from NONSTOP.

Newball’s Serenity and Qubiko’s Ai Ai Ai extend the opening run before Caal and Baum’s Block Party arrives via Desert Hearts Records. George Smeddles’ Start The Party on Resonance Records sits alongside Hector Couto’s I Feel You from ABODE Records.

Mirko Di Florio returns with Vibrate on SOLOTOKO, while Though Art’s Feel Good (Extended) and Andrea Giudice and Larry Cadge’s Fantasy broaden the selection. David San’s Pepersonico, released on La Pera Records, brings the programme back to its established club focus.

Beyoncé’s Naughty Girl (Hey Dan Remix) and Beide’s Make Believe precede Julian Collazos’ Bli Bli (David San Remix) on Psicodelica. Cheryl Lynn’s Got To Be Real (Robbie Doherty’s 129 Time Edit) introduces Deep House before Joeski’s Sacred Rythme on Saved Records follows.

Madonna’s Vogue (Roman Anthony Bootleg) gives way to Shaf Huse’s Tramaine on Universo Music and Tyga featuring Offset’s Taste (Rayzir & Daniel Oper Tasty Edit). Your Favourite Garçon then contributes both Bolivian Dream and Baby Work It in the later stretch.

Dimmish’s Groove Ya leads into DJ Kone and Marc Palacios’ Sonido Latino as the selection reaches its final passage. Mario Winans and P. Diddy’s I Don’t Wanna Know (Rafael Nazareth Logic Lab Remix) closes the mix with another familiar vocal recast for the dancefloor.
