Reinoud van Toledo and Jack Delhi present their eighth show on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an expatriate and local underground electronic music radio station for India, China, Sri Lanka and the rest of Asia, alongside its work as a DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform.
The two artists have crossed paths through Amsterdam’s electronic music scene over the years, appearing together in club settings and shared music spaces. House Your Day, one of the nights connected with their Amsterdam activity, adds further context to the shared background behind this guest mix.
In 2014, Reinoud collaborated with Dimitri from Amsterdam on Detroit Summer, released through Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications. The project connected his work with one of Detroit Techno’s most respected labels while marking an important chapter in his international catalogue.
After several years working in Techno, Reinoud returned to House music and developed a catalogue across labels including Stiletto Records, Kolour Recordings, Silhouette Records, Jambalay Records and Frame Workxx Records. His later work includes Boogie Bar, a House production that has appeared through several release listings and remixes.
Recent listings show activity across House, Deep House and Tech House. These include Optimus on NDI, Deep Sensation as a Reinoud van Toledo remix, and Let’s Play Up The House, which features collaborations with Jack Delhi.
Reinoud and Jack Delhi have also appeared together across Amsterdam’s electronic music scene over the years, including activity connected with House Your Day. Jack Delhi
Jack Delhi is an Amsterdam DJ whose connection with music began in childhood. His interest in DJing developed in 2005 after meeting Manual Point Perspective, who helped him learn the technical and practical side of playing records.
He later became a resident at Vriendjespolitiek and House Your Day, two event platforms that helped establish his profile in the Dutch club scene. By 2015, Jack Delhi was performing more widely across the Netherlands, including appearances at We Are Electric, Paaspop and Lake Dance.
His Amsterdam club work also placed him within the same network as Reinoud van Toledo. Their shared appearances around the city developed into studio collaboration, with releases that sit mainly within Tech House, House and Minimal / Deep Tech.
Together, Jack Delhi and Reinoud van Toledo have released tracks including New Berlin, AAAH, Summer Is a Magic Thing, Say Something, Limited Art and Tha Beat Is Sick. Their catalogue has appeared on labels including Jambalay Records, NDI, Plastic Recordings, Berlin After Dark and House Place Records.
Recent listings show their continued studio link through Let’s Play Up The House on NDI. The release includes Tha Beat Is Sick and Say Something, both built around Tech House structure and a direct club focus.

Reinoud Van Toledo and Jack Delhi episode 8 was aired on 18 March 2021, with Reinoud Van Toledo in the first hour and Jack Delhi in the second hour. Wolf + Lamb and Russoul’s Missing You opens the programme in the Ice Planet and Baby Prince remix, placing the first section inside Deep House through a groove-locked and bass-heavy arrangement.
Slam’s Eterna follows in the Petrichor remix, moving the mix into Peak Time Techno through its Soma Records setting and confirmed genre listing. The shift gives the early hour a sharper club shape before De La Maso and Marco Zorano return the rhythm to Tech House with Call Him To Midnight.

Tucanae and Jacobo then return to Tech House through Who’s Gonna Clean The Rug, tightening the rhythm before Dirty Disco Stars close Reinoud Van Toledo’s hour with Lucky Day.
Jack Delhi opens the second hour with Eli Bury’s edit of All Saints’ Pure Shores, placing a familiar vocal source inside a House-centred club setting. Azealia Banks’ 212 follows in the Josh Powell edit, using a recognisable vocal hook while moving the hour towards a sharper Tech House structure.
Caravaca’s Dance With Me keeps that tech-led line in place, giving the second hour a steady and functional club rhythm. Eats Everything’s Honey in the Torren Foot remix then strengthens the same section, drawing on the track’s club-heavy release context and Torren Foot’s direct rhythmic style.
Fernando Mesa’s Infinity holds the set in Tech House, using a clean low-end movement to maintain pressure through the early second hour. Cardi B’s Up appears in the Blinq and Sam Collins VIP edit, reshaping a pop and rap source into a club version suited to the surrounding Tech House material.
Chapter & Verse’s Hustle adds another Tech House cut, supported by the producer’s recognised profile in the style. Jamie Roy and Jay De Lys then bring Something into the mix, with its confirmed Tech House listing giving the middle of Jack Delhi’s hour a firm genre anchor.
Kenny Brian’s Chuleria introduces Latin House, adding a rhythmic and vocal colour change after the extended Tech House run. Adam Beyer and Bart Skils’ Losing Your Mind appears in the Saul Bliss Re Rub, returning the hour to a Peak Time Techno source reshaped for Jack Delhi’s set.
Manny Martex’s Sex Machine brings the rhythm back into Tech House before Nicki Minaj’s I’m Legit appears in the Adam Robbo edit. That edit turns a hip hop source into a House-led club version, giving the second hour another familiar vocal reference without moving away from the dancefloor structure.
Night Funk’s Isolated fits the producer’s Tech House background, keeping the late section tight and bass-focused. Riley’s You Know It follows in the same lane, adding another compact club cut before Saliva Commandos shifts the set back towards House with Blue Note Vibe.
Steve Angello’s Show Me Love in the Wh0 remix closes the episode with a House version of one of dance music’s most recognisable vocal records.
