DJ Psy Inertia, also known as Sai Subramanian & Kafka, presents another edition of his show on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform serving listeners across the region and internationally.
Based in India, Psy Inertia developed his DJ skills through Spin DJ Academy before building experience across a range of club residencies. His appearances have included venues such as Tavern, Brighton, Lush, HQ, Purple Haze and Vie Lounge.
His musical background draws from Techno, Electronica, Experimental music, Deep House, Tech House and Progressive sounds. Rather than treating these as fixed categories, he uses them as reference points for creating sets with contrast, atmosphere and a strong sense of progression.
Artists including Massive Attack, Cristian Paduraru, Michael Jackson and Talvin Singh have all influenced his wider musical outlook. That broad listening background has helped shape a style that reaches beyond conventional club programming.
Psy Inertia’s SoundCloud and Mixcloud document a selector with a strong interest in both underground dance music and more experimental material. His sessions often place rhythmic club tracks alongside deeper and more atmospheric selections.
Radio has also played an important role in expanding his reach beyond India. His sets have appeared on stations in several countries, helping introduce his work to an international audience.
Alongside DJing, Psy Inertia has developed his production activity through collaborations and label connections. His Beatport profile reflects that side of his work, including associations with Visiomind Records in Vienna and projects connected with Mechanic and Tropic Records in Mexico City.
These projects give him another outlet for the ideas developed through years of DJing and radio work. Production allows him to translate the deeper, progressive and experimental elements of his selections into original material.

DJ Psy Inertia opens Podcast 11 with Alex O'Rion's "Aperon" before Arnas D introduces a brief Tech House turn with "Satellite". Dowden's remix of Alan Cerra and Ezequiel Arias then establish the dominant Progressive House direction, combining deep rhythmic movement with increasingly expansive melodic detail.
Yannick Mueller, Lucas Rossi and East Cafe continue the progressive flow before Mauro Augugliaro with Julian Nates push the set further into its atmospheric middle section. Navar and Luis Damora follow with consecutive Sudbeat selections, reinforcing the deeper and more hypnotic character of the mix.
Andrei Niconoff keeps the Progressive House foundation intact before Clawz SG introduces Melodic House and Techno with "Xanax". Da Luka in a Jorgio Kioris remix, Chris Cargo and Juan Pablo Torrez's remix of Jorgio Kioris then return the programme to progressive territory while steadily increasing the intensity.
Estiva and Fabrication mark a stronger shift into melodic house and techno before Space Motion adds a direct House Music cut with "Epic Resurrection". Three Drives with Vintage Culture then bring "Greece 2000" into a modern melodic setting, giving the final section a more anthemic club character.
ANNA with Ravid and Dino Lenny with ARTBAT close the programme firmly inside the melodic house and techno spectrum, increasing the scale and dramatic weight of the final tracks.
