DJ Marco Mei of Bicycle Corporation returns with episode 27 of his 2026 radio series on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet.
With more than three decades behind the decks, Marco has developed an adaptable style spanning House, Deep House, Tech House, Disco and Techno. His broad musical knowledge and understanding of club audiences have established him as a recognised figure within underground electronic music across Europe and Asia.
Marco began DJing in Turin during the early 1990s as Italy's underground House and Techno scenes were developing rapidly. Through his involvement with the Urban People collective, he helped organise events and became part of the city's expanding electronic music community.
A residency at Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh became an important stage in his international career and introduced his sets to a wider audience. Further appearances followed at venues including Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2009, Marco formed Bicycle Corporation with Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Their catalogue has grown to more than fifty productions and remixes across Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno, with releases through labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka and GrooveTraxx.
The partnership combines Marco's understanding of dancefloor structure with Stefano's musical training and studio experience. Their productions balance rhythm, melody and club functionality while drawing from the broader underground electronic styles both artists have explored throughout their careers.
Marco continues to share new music, radio episodes and production updates through his Facebook page. His selections regularly connect earlier House, Disco and Techno influences with contemporary club material without losing the musical identity developed across more than thirty years of DJing.
Now based in Taipei, Marco remains closely connected with electronic music activity across Asia through clubs, events, radio and regional collaborations. He is available for bookings through the Scientific Sound Asia DJ agency, while his weekly radio series continues through the Scientific Sound Asia radio station.
Marco Mei opens Episode 27 with the vocal warmth of "Lifted" before Groove Armada and Jack Davies settle the programme into a direct House Music groove. Marc Cotterell's "Dance To The Beat" introduces the first Deep House turn, while Mood II Swing's 1992 "I Need Your Luv (Right Now)" brings an unmistakable connection to the genre's earlier club history.
ODF, Pinto and Sischke keep the rhythm firmly house-led before Roland Clark's "My Life Is A Disco" widens the palette towards Disco and Nu Disco. All Stars with Screamin’ Rachael, Angel Moraes and Disko Headz then pull the mix back towards tougher club grooves, creating a strong bridge into Felix Da Housecat's "Test Press", where the Aphrohead remix and Erol Alkan re-edit bring a sharper Indie Dance edge.
The middle stretch is packed with established house names as Gene Farris, HiFi Sean with Crystal Waters, HoneyLuv with Seth Troxler and Paul Johnson, and Jamie 3:26 with Cratebug keep the set moving through vocal hooks, jackin' rhythms and disco-rooted energy. Gerd Janson and Jacques Renault's "Never Saw Never" adds another disco-inflected shift, while Ian Pooley's dub of Director's Cut and Kenny Summit's "Loving You" returns the programme to a deeper, more spacious groove.
Ketiov, L'Atelier and Lego maintain that club-focused momentum before Machine's "There But For The Grace Of God I" in Moplen's dub introduces a broader Dance Music influence drawn from classic disco material. Madonna and Peggy Gou then provide the set's most overt pop crossover before Make A Dance closes Episode 27 with "M.A.D 001", completing a selection that moves freely between classic house foundations, deeper grooves, disco references and contemporary club energy.
He is set to perform live on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, between 6 PM and 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you can't listen to the live performance, a replay will be available on Wednesday from 6 AM to 8 AM (ICT).
