DJ Graham Gold presents episode 611 of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
A British DJ with more than four decades behind the decks, Graham has built a career spanning radio, clubs, festivals, production and international touring. His current sets draw from House, Progressive House, Melodic Techno and deeper club music while reflecting the adaptability developed throughout his long career.
Graham appeared in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, helping establish his international profile during an important period for global club culture. His reputation grew further through London's Peach club nights and a long-running residency on Kiss 100 FM, where his broadcasts reached audiences well beyond the UK.
His career began much earlier within London's club scene, including a decade at Gulliver's in Mayfair during the 1970s and 1980s. During this period, he also developed The Funky Road Show with Duncan Uren, bringing Reggae, Soul, Disco and Jazz-Funk to dancefloors across the city.
Radio became another major part of Graham's development through his involvement with pirate broadcasting before he later joined Capital FM. His work there earned him the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985 and strengthened the connection between his DJ career and broadcasting.

His international career eventually took him to more than 150 cities across over 40 countries. Performances at Glastonbury Festival, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen and Street Parade form part of a touring history that has covered several generations of electronic music.
Graham's compilation work also reached a substantial audience, with more than 700,000 albums sold and multiple BPI certifications. Alongside club appearances and radio, these releases helped extend his profile across the wider electronic music industry.
As a producer, broadcaster and selector, Graham Gold continues to use Esta La Musica as an outlet for both established artists and newer producers. The programme's title was inspired by a tattoo he received during a US tour in the 1990s, giving the series a personal connection with his long history in music.
Now based in Thailand, Graham remains active across the Asian electronic music scene while continuing to perform internationally. His appearances have included Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Phangan, alongside his continued connection with London through Peach.
Esta La Musica 611 continues the long-running series with another selection shaped by Graham's experience across clubs, radio and international touring. The programme gives him space to combine current underground releases with the pacing, musical judgement and dancefloor awareness developed throughout his career.
DJ Graham Gold opens Esta La Musica 611 with Agoria's Scala in the Vintage Culture remix, beginning with a direct House Music groove before Oxia's Domino receives a main-floor Trance treatment from Ares Carter. Stereo Underground then pulls the programme towards Progressive House with Above The Clouds, giving the opening stretch a clear melodic lift before the mix returns to firmer club rhythms.
Joseph Capriati with Gennaro and Solardo with Maur restore the House emphasis through Control and Free, keeping the middle of the programme energetic and straightforward. MCY and Manuel De La Mare then shift the rhythm into Tech House through two consecutive 303Lovers cuts, introducing a tighter and more percussive section without breaking the flow.
Supernova with Cari Golden and KIRIK return to House with Nothing Ever Stops The Rave, followed by VIOT and Braydon Terzo as the set moves back into Tech House. AAT's Bass Drop then brings the programme once again towards a fuller house groove, giving the latter half a strong alternation between straight house pressure and more stripped-back tech-house rhythm.
Terr and Daniel Watts introduce Indie Dance with Everyday OK, creating one of the clearer stylistic shifts in the episode before ERN brings the selection back to House. Rafael Cerato and Charles D then deliver the programme's sole Peak Time Techno track with Right Now, adding a harder, more driving edge near the finish.
Bart Skils and Weska's remix of Soul Central's Strings Of Life returns the set to House while keeping the Drumcode connection in place. CamelPhat, Josh Gigante and KUUDA close with REBRN's remix of So Good, finishing Episode 611 on an Indie Tech note that blends melodic tension with a darker club pulse.
Across Esta La Musica 611, House provides the dominant foundation, supported by Tech House, Progressive House, Indie Dance, Indie Tech, Trance and Peak Time Techno. Graham Gold uses those contrasts carefully, keeping the programme club-focused while allowing melodic and tougher electronic styles to appear without overwhelming the central House direction.
