After Hours 746 on Scientific Sound Asia sees Hypnotised return for another edition of the long-running series with guest DJ Monty Eden. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
Hypnotised is a DJ, producer and label head from Ghent, Belgium whose work is built around atmosphere, gradual progression and layered melodic development. His connection with underground electronic music was shaped through early appearances at events including I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno, helping establish an approach based on depth and controlled momentum.
Over time, his musical direction became increasingly focused on deeper and more melodic club music. His sets give individual tracks room to develop, with extended transitions and carefully managed changes in energy creating continuity across longer sessions.
After Hours, co-hosted with PatriZe, has become one of the principal outlets for that approach. The programme reaches audiences internationally through a wider radio network, giving both DJs space to present extended selections and guest performances.
Hypnotised and PatriZe also present AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio, where they showcase new material connected with the label and its wider artist network. Hypnotised additionally hosts Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio, providing another outlet for new and established producers.
Radio remains closely connected with his wider activity as a selector, producer and label manager. Each platform gives him room to explore new music while maintaining the patient pacing and melodic focus that characterise his DJ work.
As co-founder and label manager of AH Digital, Hypnotised has helped develop an imprint centred on atmospheric and underground electronic music. The label supports both established producers and newer names while maintaining a clear identity built around depth, movement and dancefloor function.
His own studio work follows many of the same principles. Melody and rhythm are treated as equal parts of the arrangement, allowing tension and emotional detail to develop without weakening the forward motion of the track.
Recent work includes his collaboration with PatriZe on a remix of Weird Things for AH Digital. The release reflects the musical relationship the pair have developed through production, radio and their shared work behind the label.
Hypnotised has also reworked Blissing for SINCITY and collaborated with Frank Savio on a remix of The Master of Time and Thoughts for COMET Records. His recent catalogue also includes Between The Echoes on Vandit Alternative and a remix of Ricardo Piedra’s Bungalow for Bonzai Progressive.
Across these projects, his focus remains on careful arrangement, restrained tension and gradual development. The same balance carries directly into After Hours, where the opening hour is designed to unfold steadily rather than chase immediate impact.
Episode 746 continues that long-running format with Monty Eden joining as the featured guest. Hypnotised opens the programme with a first-hour selection shaped by the deeper, patient approach that has become central to the series.

Monty Eden is a Mexican DJ and producer from Mexico City whose musical background extends well beyond electronic music. With guitar as his main instrument, he explored Blues and Progressive Rock before gradually moving towards underground club music and eventually concentrating fully on electronic production and DJing.
That earlier experience continues to influence the way he approaches both production and selection. Rather than treating electronic music as something separate from his instrumental background, Monty combines programmed rhythm with more organic textures, subtle vocal elements and melodic detail.
He began establishing himself within the Mexican electronic music scene around 2018, performing in cities including Mexico City, Querétaro, Playa del Carmen and Puebla. His appearances have placed him alongside artists from the national scene such as Hot Tuneik, while he has also performed at events featuring international names including Kamilo Sanclemente and Rick Pier O'Neil.
Monty’s productions are built around the idea of balancing electronic and analogue influences. His tracks often use restrained instrumental detail and carefully placed textures rather than relying purely on heavy club structures, giving his work a more spacious and progressive character.
That approach has led to releases through labels including Stellar Fountain, The Purr and RYNTH. These imprints have provided an outlet for music that sits between Organic House, Progressive House and deeper melodic club material without forcing his sound into one narrow direction.
Among his releases is Urban Delusion on RYNTH, accompanied by Evil Twin, both issued in 2024. Urban Delusion later appeared again on the label’s Best Of RYNTH, Vol. 8 compilation, extending the reach of one of his earlier catalogue highlights.
Later in 2024, Monty released Phat Jagger and Time Again through The Purr. Phat Jagger was subsequently selected for the label’s Best Of Summer 2025 compilation, giving the track another appearance within the imprint’s wider catalogue.
His work with Stellar Fountain has also included Kayla on the label’s Spring Sampler 2024. In 2025, he returned to the label alongside GastoM for a remix of Freemood’s Snow, bringing his production style into a more explicitly progressive framework.
That collaboration with GastoM continued through their remix of Hunter. S’s Motus for Music With Emotion Records. Both remixes demonstrate Monty’s ability to work within another artist’s material while retaining the melodic and groove-led characteristics found throughout his own productions.
Across these releases, Monty Eden has developed a catalogue that reflects his wider musical philosophy: movement between different environments rather than commitment to a single fixed sound. His work connects progressive structures, organic elements and club-focused rhythm with the musical instincts developed through years of playing guitar and exploring different genres.
Monty continues to share his work through SoundCloud, Mixcloud and his social platforms under the Monty Eden name. His current direction remains centred on music that is energetic, progressive and groove-focused while retaining enough space for texture, melody and experimentation.
Hypnotised opens After Hours 746 with Mekci’s Morning Dew before Liam Garcia and Kebin van Reeken continue a tightly focused Progressive House sequence. Alexis Ludd and Soulmade’s remix of Dhany G, William Rizz and Havjers keep the first hour locked into deep, melodic progression without introducing a major stylistic break.
Chelakhov’s Take Me Up leads into Sabrina Rivas’ remix of Gabo Martin, while Tali Muss with 84 Avenue add another expansive progressive selection through Vortex. D-Mice’s remix of Al Park and DUDU’s Neural Dream complete a first hour made entirely from Progressive House, giving Hypnotised a consistent and concentrated opening set.
Monty Eden begins the second hour with Facundo Navarro’s remix of Lucas G before Luciano Ficarra continues the progressive direction with Gone. Arbey Gonzalez’s remix of Grattiam then introduces the episode’s sole Organic House selection, providing a warmer contrast before Sofia Deren’s remix of La Vue restores the dominant Progressive House flow.
Fernando Olaya with Julian Millan and Mekci continue the second-hour progression before Juan Deminicis with Casnik and Cami Lipski with Frezz deepen the melodic character. Maze 28 and Leo Bellaera maintain that same direction, giving the guest hour a similarly focused structure to Hypnotised’s opening section.
EDLands’ remix of JJ Grant’s Sunrise In Valletta closes the episode with one final Progressive House selection. Across After Hours 746, Progressive House overwhelmingly dominates both hours, with Monty Eden’s brief Organic House diversion providing the only clear stylistic departure from an otherwise tightly unified programme.
