After Hours 440 features Hypnotised at the helm with guest DJ Doriaan joining the programme on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform serving listeners across the region and internationally.
Hypnotised is a Belgian DJ, producer and label head from Ghent whose musical background developed through the city’s electronic music culture. Early exposure to events such as I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno helped shape his interest in underground club music and the deeper side of electronic production.
During the early stages of his career, he performed across clubs and events around Ghent while exploring a broad range of electronic styles. Over time, his direction became increasingly focused on deeper Progressive House, melodic material and Techno-influenced rhythms.
That approach has become central to the way Hypnotised constructs both club sets and radio programmes. Longer transitions, gradual changes in intensity and layered melodic structures give his selections room to develop with a strong sense of continuity.
Together with PatriZe, he co-hosts the long-running After Hours radio series. The programme has been broadcast through TM Radio in the United States, Cosmos Radio in Germany and Scientific Sound Asia Radio, connecting their Progressive House selections with listeners across several continents.
The pair also present AH Digital Essentials through Proton Radio, using the programme to highlight music connected with their label and wider artist network. Hypnotised additionally hosts his own monthly Energetic show on Progressive Beats Radio in Germany.
His radio activity has extended further through guest appearances on stations including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI.FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia FM, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM and Ibiza Soul-Radio. These broadcasts have helped maintain his international profile alongside his club and production work.
Hypnotised has performed alongside artists including Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose and Nick Bril. His appearances have included Amsterdam Dance Event, Deep on Deck Festival in South Africa, Club NL in Amsterdam, Decadance in Ghent and Zanzibar in South Africa.
In 2015, he co-founded AH Digital with PatriZe and moved further into production. The label became an important outlet for Progressive House and related underground electronic music while also creating a platform for artists connected with the wider After Hours network.
His early releases gained attention on Beatport, with People from the Otherworld reaching number four on the Progressive House releases chart. The title track was later remixed by Rui Da Silva, bringing additional international attention to the project.
Further chart success followed with Infinity, which reached number two in both the Progressive House and Trance release charts and number three in Techno. These results strengthened his profile as a producer while demonstrating the range of influences feeding into his studio work.
In 2016, Hypnotised introduced the Man on the Moon alias as another outlet for electronic material. The project included Sense on Bonzai, while his wider production activity also brought recognition through a Metapop remix competition and exposure through Belgian station Studio Brussel.
His catalogue has since included work through Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomniafm and Abstract Space Records. AH Digital remains central to his activity as a producer, curator and radio host.

This week’s guest for the second hour is Doriaan, the stage name of Mexican DJ and producer Dorian Fabian Padilla Espinola. Based in Mexico City, he has developed a sound centred on Progressive House, with groove, melody and deeper emotional detail forming the core of his approach.
He began as a self-taught DJ and producer before making his first official appearance on Jumpers Recordings in 2016. That release gave him an early foothold in the scene and opened the way for further production work across several independent labels.
His catalogue has since expanded through releases and remixes on imprints including Bonzai Progressive. Tracks such as U-Boot and Orcinus helped strengthen his profile, with Orcinus arriving through Bonzai Progressive in 2023 and reinforcing the melodic, club-focused direction of his work.
His productions tend to balance groove with atmosphere rather than pushing relentlessly towards peak-time intensity. Melodic phrasing, controlled percussion and deeper rhythmic movement give his tracks a sound that remains functional for the dancefloor while retaining emotional weight.
His Beatport catalogue shows that this development has continued into more recent years. In 2026, he released Analog Dreams with The Funk Fabric through For Senses Records and followed with the Enigma release on Polyptych Limited White.
These newer projects demonstrate a producer continuing to refine his identity rather than remaining tied to the sound of his earlier material. The music retains the melodic qualities associated with his work while becoming increasingly polished in structure, pacing and production detail.
He has also appeared on the Music for Senses IBIZA 2026 compilation through For Senses Records. That release placed his work alongside a wide international roster of artists and further extended his presence within the contemporary scene.
His catalogue also includes compilation appearances connected with other underground labels and artists, reflecting a network that reaches well beyond Mexico. Those connections have helped position his productions within the wider international community while maintaining the individual melodic character behind his work.
As a DJ, he approaches music with the same emphasis on continuity found in his productions. His sets favour gradual development, detailed transitions and a balance between deeper passages and more energetic melodic material.
Hypnotised opens After Hours 440 with Gux Jimenez's remix of rAin before Agustin Pietrocola and Dr. B establish the deep, patient Progressive House character of the first hour. AxeLara's remix of Gerardo Moro and the Marco Lopez with Nicolas Giordano treatment of Nicolas Benedetti keep the set focused on gradual melodic development and restrained club pressure.
Blackloud's "Midnight Z" deepens the atmosphere before K Loveski reshapes Astropilot, D.J. MacIntyre and Casper Keys with Mellonie Irvine. L Georges and Jack Lazarus' remix of Rockka then complete Hypnotised's selection with another run of immersive, late-night progressive material.
Doriaan opens the second hour with Antrim and Ezequiel Arias' remix of 16 Bit Lolitas before UCP Berlin and MOSHIC strengthen the darker melodic direction. Stergios Sigma and Mariano Favre maintain that deep progressive focus, favouring extended tension and atmospheric detail rather than sudden shifts in energy.
Doriaan's remix of D.J. MacIntyre and Hypnotised's "The Noetic Experience" brings the guest directly into the centre of the programme before Nicolas Rada and Airwave continue the melodic build.
