Bicycle Corporation is the Italian duo formed by Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, better known as 6884. Together they have built a catalogue of more than fifty original productions and numerous remixes spanning House, Deep House, Tech House, French House, melodic electronic music and Techno.
Marco began his career in Turin during the early 1990s as a DJ and producer, later becoming involved with the Urban People collective. Through that project he developed his experience as a promoter and organiser while hosting House and Techno events across Italy.
Record collecting was equally important to Marco's development, and he spent considerable time searching Turin's record shops for Afrocentric, electronic and club-focused music. That wider interest helped shape a selection style that was never restricted to one narrow area of dance music.
His growing reputation eventually led to a residency with Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The experience strengthened his international profile and was followed by further bookings across Europe, Asia and other parts of the global club circuit.
Stefano grew up in Turin and showed a strong interest in music from an early age, studying classical piano, percussion and drums. His wider influences included Chopin and West African djembe, giving him a broad rhythmic and melodic foundation before electronic music became his main focus.
As a teenager, Stefano became increasingly fascinated by DJs and the electronic records that were still difficult to hear on mainstream Italian radio during the 1990s. That interest eventually led him towards production and the technical side of creating the music that had captured his attention.
When Stefano met Marco, the pair discovered a shared understanding of electronic music and began working together as Bicycle Corporation. Marco's experience behind the decks and Stefano's musical background gave the project a flexible base for moving between deeper, melodic and more driving club material.
Their work has since appeared across numerous international labels, while the duo have maintained a steady output of original productions and remixes. Bicycle Corporation remains broad in scope, allowing House and Techno foundations to sit alongside Afrocentric, melodic and more eclectic influences.

This week’s guest is DJ Brendon P, whose real name is Brendon Perera, a Singaporean DJ and producer with more than four decades behind the decks. Known for a low-profile and understated approach, he has built his reputation around careful selection, musical depth and a strong understanding of dancefloor culture.
Brendon began DJing in 1980 on Singapore’s mobile DJ circuit before moving into clubs the following year. A visit to New York in 1984 proved especially influential, with time spent at the Funhouse, Paradise Garage, Danceteria and Area introducing him directly to the club culture that helped shape the House Music he would later champion.
His musical interests have remained broad throughout his career, crossing House, Techno, Disco, Nu Disco, Funk, Soul, Lounge and Electronica. During the 1980s, Brendon worked across the club circuit with the Juliana’s and Bacchus groups before later holding residencies at Neo Pharaohs, Venom and NOX. He also spent nine years as a resident at Zouk Singapore, followed by further long-term activity at Kyo and CÉ LA VI Rooftop Club & SkyBar at Marina Bay Sands.
His international appearances have taken him to cities including Geneva, Gothenburg, Melbourne, London, New York, Miami, Taipei, Hanoi and Hong Kong. In June 2010, he also performed at the former Cielo Club in New York, reinforcing a connection with the city that had influenced him so strongly during the early years of his career.
Alongside DJing, Brendon has developed an extensive catalogue as a producer and remixer. Alexander Robotnik's "Love Supreme" and Petko Turner's edit of Bandolero's "Paris Latino" keep the rhythm bright and playful, introducing the Disco character that becomes central to the episode.
