This week’s guest DJ is MPSoup, the artist name of Humberto Garzaro, a Tampa Bay, Florida-based DJ who began his professional career in 2009. He started out playing Electro House and Progressive Trance before developing into a multi-genre DJ with a broader range of influences.
Since 2010, MPSoup has hosted and performed at numerous events in Miami across a variety of venues. His work has included club appearances alongside private and corporate events, giving him experience across several different performance settings.
The name MPSoup represents Music, Pictures and Soup, reflecting Humberto’s work as a DJ, photographer and chef. These three interests form the basis of his wider creative identity and have allowed him to pursue different professional paths alongside music.
In more recent years, he has concentrated increasingly on corporate and private events while balancing his work with family life. His wife and two children remain an important source of motivation as he manages the different demands of his career.
MPSoup also expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to contribute a mix to Scientific Sound Asia. In his own words, he is “Blessed to be MPSoup” and grateful to have created the mix, particularly for his friend DJ Gerard.

Riton featuring Kah-Lo and Gorgon City add a vocal House Music edge before Dom Dolla returns with his remix of Motez’s “Down Like This.”
Louie Vega featuring Marc E. Bassy brings a deeper house groove before Wax Motif adds the heavier bass of “WET.” KC Lights and John Summit’s remix of DRAMA with Gorgon City then pull the set back towards tech house, combining vocal hooks with a firmer club rhythm.
Don Diablo and Jax Jones move the selection into a more accessible dancefloor section before Surf Mesa and Shiba San provide two contrasting takes on house music. “Okay” gives MPsoup a stripped-back groove before Sonny Fodera and Dom Dolla’s “Moving Blind” returns to the tech-house direction that dominates much of the show.
