After Hours 745 features PatriZe at the helm with guest DJ Hiram Scoffield on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
PatriZe is a Belgian DJ, producer, radio host and label founder based in Thailand. His musical direction developed from early interests in Trance and Techno towards deeper, melodic and progressively structured electronic music.
His sets are built around long blends, gradual changes in energy and carefully layered arrangements. Rather than relying on abrupt transitions or isolated peak-time moments, he allows individual tracks to unfold while maintaining continuity across the wider mix.
An important early milestone came in 2010 when PatriZe won the Night Museum DJ Competition in France. The result earned him an opening slot for Guy J and helped broaden his profile during a formative stage of his career.
His connection with Pole Folder also played a role in developing his approach to pacing, structure and melodic detail. Those experiences helped shape the patient style that later became central to both his DJ sets and radio programming.
In 2015, PatriZe co-founded AH Digital with Hypnotised as an independent outlet for deeper underground electronic music. The label quickly became closely connected with their production work, radio activity and wider international network of artists.
AH Digital has since developed into an important part of PatriZe’s work as a producer, curator and label head. The imprint provides a platform for both established artists and emerging producers while maintaining a strong focus on depth, atmosphere and musical progression.
Collaboration with Hypnotised has remained a regular part of his studio activity. Their productions and remixes share a measured approach in which rhythmic control, melodic detail and gradual movement are given equal importance.
That partnership also sits at the centre of After Hours, where PatriZe and Hypnotised alternate hosting duties and introduce guest DJs from across the international underground scene. The programme gives both artists room to explore extended selections while allowing each guest to bring a distinct perspective to the second hour.
PatriZe remains active within Thailand’s electronic music community alongside his international broadcasting commitments. Performances around Pattaya and Jomtien have kept him connected with local club audiences while his radio work continues to reach listeners well beyond Southeast Asia.
Radio remains particularly well suited to his approach because it provides the space for longer musical development. Through After Hours, PatriZe continues to build carefully paced programmes around deep selections, gradual transitions and a strong sense of continuity.
After Hours 745 continues that format with Hiram Scoffield joining the programme as the featured guest. The episode pairs PatriZe’s established radio approach with another producer and DJ working within the deeper and more melodic side of contemporary underground electronic music.

Guest DJ Hiram Scoffield.
Hiram Scoffield is an electronic music producer and DJ developing a distinctive identity through deep, atmospheric and progressive sounds. His work combines hypnotic rhythm, melodic detail and carefully evolving arrangements, with an emphasis on flow and emotional development rather than short-lived peaks.
His productions move across Progressive House, Organic House and deeper Afro-influenced territory while maintaining a recognisable sense of atmosphere. Rather than treating each style separately, Hiram uses melody, percussion and gradual progression to connect different sides of his musical approach.
His recorded catalogue began to gain wider visibility through Vivid Dreams, released through 3rd Avenue as part of We Are the Future 2025, Vol. 2. The track later appeared on the label’s Best of 3rd Avenue | Summer 2026 collection, giving one of his early progressive productions continued exposure.
Further releases through RYNTH expanded his sound in a different direction. Awake introduced a slower, percussion-led approach, while Circular Breathing explored warmer and more organic textures before later appearing on the label’s Best Of RYNTH, Vol. 9 compilation.
Air & Dust, released through Circle of Life on Efimero VA 05, continued that atmospheric side of his catalogue. Across these releases, Hiram demonstrated an ability to work with more spacious arrangements without losing the rhythmic structure at the centre of his productions.
His relationship with 3rd Avenue has also extended into remix work. In 2026, Hiram delivered his interpretation of Fede Archdale and Alex Ellis’ Comet 1, reshaping the original through his own deeper and more progressive production style.
The next stage of his catalogue includes Balandra on AH Digital, scheduled for release in September 2026. The project also features remixes from AxeLara & Lala Leuwers, Cipriani & Hans Gerd, and Dion Paola (AUS), placing Hiram’s original alongside several different interpretations.
Vivid Dreams is also set to receive further exposure through Forward Music’s The Sound of Tomorrow, Vol. 3. Its continued appearance across labels and compilations reflects the strength of a track that has become an important part of his developing catalogue.
Alongside production, Hiram approaches DJing with the same emphasis on patience and progression. His sets are built around deep rhythms, hypnotic melodic lines and carefully controlled changes in energy, allowing each section to develop naturally into the next.
That balance between club functionality and emotional detail is becoming central to the Hiram Scoffield project. As his catalogue expands across independent labels, he continues to develop a sound rooted in atmosphere, movement and long-form musical storytelling.
PatriZe opens After Hours Episode 745 with Rich Trelo and Sineforma's "Second Light", immediately establishing a strong Progressive House foundation. Juan Arcucci's remix of Full.K, Michael A and Joaquín Salmain continue that direction, keeping the first hour focused on deep, melodic progression rather than sharp stylistic changes.
Agustin Massari's remix of Diego Gelati leads into DJ Meoz, D-MICE and Byhon as the set develops through a tightly controlled run of Progressive House. DJ Meoz returns with "Time Machine" before Juan Buitrago's remix of Redspace and SHERRNX and Juan Deminicis with Casnik close PatriZe's hour without breaking the progressive thread.
DJ Hiram Scoffield begins the second hour with Nicolas Rada's "Black Hole", introducing an Ambient and Experimental opening before Nicolas Giordano shifts into Organic House. Gai Barone with ETNE, La Vue and Rodrives then move the guest mix firmly into Progressive House, creating a clear transition from atmospheric opening material into a more defined club structure.
Budakid's "Igls" brings in Deep House before HAFT restores the Progressive House focus with "Eventura". Juan Ibanez with Alejo Fochi and Agustín Petros briefly return to Organic House through "Ashes", adding another softer contrast before the final stretch.
HAFT's extended remix of Kamilo Sanclemente, Eli Nissan and Cornucopia's remix of Chopstick & Johnjon with Signaljacker take the closing section back into sustained Progressive House. Across Episode 745, PatriZe supplies an entirely progressive first hour, while DJ Hiram Scoffield broadens the second with Ambient, Organic House and Deep House before settling into the same progressive core.
