Marco Mei is one half of Bicycle Corporation and a well-established solo DJ and producer in his own right, with over thirty years of experience rooted in afrobeat, funk and early synthesised music. His career behind the decks began in Italy in the early 1990s, and that breadth of early influence has continued to shape his approach to selection ever since.
A residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh marked his entry into the international circuit, which subsequently took him to Woo Bar, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali and NLO in Minsk. His booth partners over the years have included Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D'Void.
Bicycle Corporation, the project he runs with Stefano Ugliano, known as 6884, dates back to 2009 and found its first home with 17:44 Records. Releases across Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka and Revox now total over fifty tracks and remixes spanning deep house, tech house, French house and techno, with the duo's earliest recordings now available on Bandcamp. Taipei remains his base, and regular appearances across South East Asia have kept him embedded in a growing network of artists and promoters throughout the region. He is available for bookings through the Scientific Sound Asia DJ agency and presents a weekly show on our radio station.

Willesden Dodgers' 114 B.P.M. (1982) arrives as a classic house and boogie moment, its 1982 date placing it among the earliest source material in the Marco Mei podcast series.
