El Brujo presents the first hour of El Brujo and the Wild Bunch episode 06, with guest Kev Willis taking over for the second part of the programme on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and audiences across Asia and internationally.
El Brujo, whose real name is Robert Milanesi, was born in Italy in 1964 and developed an early connection with music. By 1994, he had become closely associated with Bologna’s underground rave scene, where he was regarded as one of its founding figures.
His first official release arrived in 2008 with Warriors on the Milan-based label Open Legs. That release marked the beginning of a production catalogue that would later extend across numerous Techno and underground electronic labels.
In 2010, he launched Jambalay Records, with the label’s opening party held at Club Geminis in Ibiza harbour. The project gained wider attention the following year when Maya Jane Coles included music connected with him and the label in her February 2011 chart.
That chart featured his collaboration with Big Mojo, The Way to Mozambique. The track was also connected with his first physical CD release, Nutty Fellas Are Go, giving his work another route into the wider international electronic music scene.
In January 2019, Plastic Dreams, originally released through FrameWorxxx, reached number 33 in Beatport’s Hard Techno Top 100. The result added another milestone to a catalogue already developed through years of independent production and label activity.
He has released music through labels including Elektrax, Frame Workxx, LW Recordings, Subwoofer, Berlin After Dark, Music Is The Drug, Gobekli Tepe, Fortwin Rec, Bunker, Mad Rhythm, SE7ENS, Physical Techno, Oxytech, Plusquam and Ushuaia Music. His wider catalogue also includes appearances through numerous other underground imprints across Techno and related electronic styles.
His production approach is generally raw and direct, with space-inspired and interstellar ideas appearing regularly across his work. Rather than remaining fixed to one narrow interpretation of Techno, he has used different labels and projects to explore several sides of underground electronic music.
His show was developed as a platform for DJs and producers connected with his wider network of Techno artists. The series combines his own selections with guest appearances that introduce different perspectives from within that collective.

Guest DJ (second hour) Kev Willis.
This edition’s second-hour guest is Kev Willis, a Techno DJ and producer from Stoke-on-Trent in the north of England. He began DJing and experimenting with production as a teenager, developing a long-term connection with Techno that would later extend across radio, clubs and studio work.
From 2004 to 2009, Kev presented monthly shows on the Canada-based online station Techno FM. That period helped him build an international audience, strengthen his experience behind the decks and connect with a wider network of DJs and producers.
His broadcasting later included appearances on platforms such as Fnoob Techno Radio and Future Music FM, alongside other Techno-focused podcasts and radio projects. His DJ work also took him to events including Load, Ghettoblaster, Waveform Riot, Subterraneo, Metro Casa and Heritage.
Production has remained a central part of his activity, with releases appearing through labels including trench, Merat Records, Frame Workxx Records, SMR Underground and Iberico Techno Label. His catalogue spans Raw, Deep and Hypnotic Techno, Peak Time Techno and Hard Techno, giving him room to work across both driving and more atmospheric material.
Recent releases include Voices In Space and Brain Storm on trench, Deeper Dreams on Merat Records and Fall In Darkness on trench. Further 2026 material includes Melody Crisis, MANIC REVENGE, Bad Promises, Danger City, Human Error, Broken Love, Mind Works, Backroom Noise and Poly Behaviour.
Kev also contributed a remix of Cassete Stereo’s Arcade Mode for Merat Records, continuing a catalogue built around both original productions and remix work. His guest appearance on El Brujo and the Wild Bunch places that experience within a programme focused on underground Techno and producers connected through the wider Wild Bunch network.
El Brujo opens the first hour with 2222 Dualism, establishing a forceful Peak Time Techno direction before Till The End Of Time brings the harder edge of Hard Techno. From Here To Eternity and Cristian's remix of Final Takeover then return the programme to driving Techno, keeping El Brujo's own productions firmly at the centre of the opening sequence.
Kev Willis' Lunar Collide and El Brujo's Call Of Cthulhu maintain that pressure before The Rhythm Fixxer's Night Ritual extends the dark, club-focused mood through another sustained peak-time passage. Francesco Conti briefly breaks that pattern with I'm Looking For A Place To Stay, introducing the programme's sole House Music selection before Judge Jay, Gianni Piras and Joe Cozzo with Chris Khaos and Mike Wlkr restore the driving Techno momentum.
Kev Willis begins the second hour with Misinki, Essor and Jacknowledge, Pfropf, Full Funktion and Secus, forming a tightly packed run of peak-time material built around direct percussion and sustained forward motion. Neiland's Nothing Less then brings a deeper turn into Deep Techno, while Sleeparchive's Porridge reinforces the raw, hypnotic character of the middle section.
Emison's Limbo pushes the set back towards a more forceful club pulse before Viels, Codeck, Exallos and Oall Hates maintain the pressure through a sequence dominated by driving Techno. Petri Petro's Persist continues that momentum, while Riesenfeld and Alessandro Petracca introduce two straighter Techno cuts that momentarily reduce the emphasis on peak-time intensity.
Rngd, Mittens and Same Lee bring the second hour back to harder, more driving territory before Slam's remix of Luca Agnelli's Voltumna adds another heavyweight surge late in the programme. Twan's Dead Freight and Emison's Hummel Paradox then close the session with two final peak-time selections, leaving the latter stages firmly focused on power and momentum.
Across The Wild Bunch 6, the host and Kev Willis deliver a Techno-led programme with a clear emphasis on Peak Time and Driving material, supported by Hard Techno, deeper hypnotic passages and a single House diversion. El Brujo's first hour is built heavily around his own productions and Jambalay Records material, while Kev Willis widens the second half through a broader underground Techno selection from labels including Phobiq, Dynamic Reflection, Etruria Beat and trench.
