Florescence Wavs and guest DJ BDee feature in Florescence wav with DJ BDee Episode 1 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an underground electronic music radio station for Asia and internationally, as well as a DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform.
This edition features guest DJ BDee, real name Dawon Lee, from Itaewon in Seoul, South Korea. She has been performing as a DJ in and around the capital since 2014.
During her early years behind the decks, BDee focused mainly on Hip Hop. As her musical knowledge developed, she moved further into Electronica and built a strong interest in Tech House.
Coming from Itaewon placed her close to one of Seoul’s busiest nightlife districts. The neighbourhood is known for bars and clubs that support underground music, giving her a strong setting for early DJ activity.
Her main inspiration at events and clubs comes from the emotion she feels in the music and from the crowd. That interaction shapes the way she builds sets and responds to the atmosphere in front of her.
As one third of the all-female House music crew Florescence Wavs, BDee has become part of a trio active within Seoul’s nightlife scene. The group has played events at recognised venues across the capital, bringing its House and underground electronic sound to the station.
Florescence wav with DJ BDee Episode 1 opens with Alci’s Within, placing the programme inside Minimal / Deep Tech through the artist’s stripped and groove-focused catalogue profile. Swat’s Heat then moves into Tech House before Late Replies’ Ily returns the set to a reduced underground rhythm.
Tobi Kramer’s No Way keeps the early section firm and club-focused, while Stephan Hinz’s When The Cheese Is Gone shifts towards Deep House. Walker & Royce then continue that deeper line with Sister, a track described as a pounding Deep House production built around layered development.

Dissolut’s Passing By and Dennis Quin’s Rubb bring the mix back into Tech House, adding more direct rhythmic pressure. Martina’s Riddle and Mehlor with Aron Volta’s Sly then return to Minimal / Deep Tech, keeping the sound lean and tightly arranged.
Riohv’s Green Room introduces another Deep House passage, giving the later section a softer and more atmospheric sound. Proudly People’s Burn It Up, Rossi’s Deviate and Ray Mono’s Auto-Pilot then extend the Minimal / Deep Tech thread through rolling basslines and reduced club movement.
Situation 2wo’s Way2tite in the Josh Butler remix adds another Tech House cut before Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything’s All The Ladies shifts into House through its confirmed Beatport listing. Harrison BDP’s Red Sky then gives the closing section a deeper melodic turn before Luuk Van Dijk restores the minimal pressure with Blunted.
The Dopeheadz bring Now I Got Edit into the final run as a House entry, giving the set a looser club moment before the last two tracks. Toman’s Le Premier and Sidney Charles’ Sin City close the episode inside Minimal / Deep Tech, ending DJ BDee’s first Florescence wav episode with a stripped and groove-led finish.
