Gerard announces guest DJ MPSoup and playlist for The Hit List 56

Gerard Jones presents The Hit List 56 on Scientific Sound Asia with guest DJ MPSoup. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.

Gerard is a DJ from Florida in the United States, with a natural flair for production and a strong commitment to electronic music. His work centres on House music, and he has performed for audiences at venues across his career.

Gerard started as part of DeviceRATT with F.L.I. Records, where his interest in electronic music developed into a deep appreciation of the genre. The experience helped him find his path as a DJ, playing sets built around detailed beats and electronic sounds.

He performed across South Florida’s underground scene, including at Treehouse and Nocturnal. These appearances brought favourable reviews, sold-out shows and a growing following.

In 2014, Gerard released his debut with Aerotek Records and developed his place within the electronic scene. Further releases on labels including Pure Pitch and LTHM added to his catalogue.

Gerard also held a string of residencies at venues across East Asia. There he laid down beats for audiences, building on the achievements of his South Florida years.

After gaining a significant following at venues in the region, Gerard became an established figure on China’s music scene. When the pandemic struck, he returned to America after his success in the Far East.

Following his return to the United States, Gerard wielded his craft for audiences while his following expanded internationally. His work has given him a recognisable place within the electronic music scene.
