Gerard presents The Hit List 51 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Gerard is a DJ and producer from Florida, USA, whose productions include Deep House, Deep Tech, Tech House and Techno. His work has placed him within the broader house music scene, and he has performed for audiences in the United States and East Asia.
He began as part of DeviceRATT with F.L.I. Records, before his interest in electronic music developed into a lasting commitment to the genre. That period helped him establish a path as a DJ, built around the beats and sounds that informed his sets.
Gerard performed across South Florida's underground scene, including appearances at Treehouse and Nocturnal. His profile grew through favourable reviews, sold-out shows and an expanding audience.
In 2014, Gerard released his debut with Aerotek Records, marking an early release in his electronic music career. Further releases with labels including Pure Pitch and LTHM strengthened his place on the scene.
His work also led to residencies at venues across East Asia, following his success in the United States. Through these appearances, he brought his beats to audiences beyond his home region.
Gerard developed a following in China and became a familiar name at venues on the country's music scene. When the pandemic struck, he returned to America and was unable to continue his work in the Far East.
Following his return to the United States, Gerard has wielded his craft through DJing and production. His audience has grown beyond his original regional base as his music has reached listeners internationally.
Gerard's The Hit List 51 episode opens with DeviceRATT and Laidback Prince's Gotta Get It on LTHM, introducing the programme with House Music. August Artier's Rakuyou on Voltaire Music follows with Deep Tech House textures, before Max Chapman's Alpha on Hottrax brings in a sharper Tech House edge.
Alexic Rod's Stroyalisius on NOEXCUSE Limited returns to Deep Tech House, establishing the low-slung direction heard through the early selections. Lewis.'s Let's Get It on Low Groove Records and Art in Motion's Socaire on Plano B Records keep that foundation moving while alternating deep-tech detail with Tech House rhythm.
GHEIST's dub of Disclose Yours on Watergate Records introduces Melodic House and Techno to the programme. Kanpai's Four on Variety Music develops that melodic strain before the selection turns back towards the club-focused material that follows.
Ronnie Spiteri's Soul Finder and Musical Minds, both released through Kenja Records, restore the set's Tech House pressure. Wax On Mare St.'s Back Beat on Bamboleo then moves the mix into another Deep Tech House passage.
Ray Mono's Uncut on Decay Records extends the deep-tech feel before Christian Burkhardt's Quanta, also on Decay Records, supplies a Minimal turn. S.T.R.E.S.S.E.D's Kinda Lost on Conceptual brings the programme back to Deep Tech House without breaking its measured pace.
SAAD SKA's Moldavic on LTHM and Mihai Popoviciu's Biology on Decay Records carry the late section through focused Deep Tech House. EdiP's Count and Play and Wax On Mare St.'s closing Moonshine, both on Bamboleo, give Gerard a firm, rhythm-led finish.
