After Hours 438 features Hypnotised at the helm with guest DJ Hans Rotationz joining the programme on Scientific Sound Asia. Hypnotised is a Belgian DJ, producer and label head from Ghent whose musical background developed through the city’s underground club culture. Early appearances at events such as I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno helped shape a style built around depth, atmosphere and controlled progression.
During the early stages of his career, he played across a range of venues in Ghent while exploring different areas of electronic music. Over time, his direction moved increasingly towards deeper and more melodic material, with long transitions and careful pacing becoming central to his sets.
Together with PatriZe, he co-hosts the long-running After Hours series. The programme has been broadcast through TM Radio in the United States, Cosmos Radio in Germany and Scientific Sound Asia Radio, connecting the pair with listeners across several regions.
They also present AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio, using the programme to showcase new music connected with their label and wider artist network. Hypnotised additionally hosts Energetic on Progressive Beats Radio, giving him another outlet for new and established producers.
His radio activity has extended to guest appearances on stations including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI.FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia FM, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM and Ibiza Soul-Radio. These broadcasts have helped maintain his international profile alongside club appearances and production work.
Hypnotised has performed alongside artists including Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose and Nick Bril. His appearances have included Amsterdam Dance Event, Deep on Deck Festival in South Africa, Club NL in Amsterdam, Decadance and Niche Club in Ghent, W Lounge in Amsterdam, Citylife in Terneuzen and Zanzibar in South Africa.
In 2015, he co-founded AH Digital with PatriZe and moved further into production. The label became a platform for underground electronic music while giving both artists a direct outlet for their own releases and a growing international roster.
His early People from the Otherworld project reached number four on Beatport’s Progressive House releases chart. The title track was later remixed by Rui Da Silva, bringing additional attention to the project.
Further chart success followed with Infinity, which reached number two in both the Progressive House and Trance release charts and number three in Techno. In 2016, Hypnotised also introduced the Man on the Moon alias, beginning with Sense on Bonzai.
His production catalogue has included work through Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomniafm, Abstract Space Records, Eternal Beats, Beat Block Records, Aeriform Records and several other independent imprints. AH Digital remains central to his activity as a producer, curator and label manager.
After Hours 438 continues the established format with Hypnotised opening the programme before Hans Rotationz takes over as the featured guest. The episode gives both artists space to bring their own perspective into a series built around deeper underground electronic music and long-form radio programming.

This week’s guest DJ is Hans Rotationz, the stage name of Belgian DJ, radio host and producer Hans Temmerman. He is the co-founder, host and producer of the long-running Rotationz radio show on Topradio FM, where he has been active since 2003.
Through Rotationz, Hans has built a platform centred on new releases, artist albums, compilations and guest mixes from across the electronic music scene. The programme has given him a consistent role in introducing new music while maintaining close contact with producers, labels and DJs.
His own musical outlook is broad, drawing from Deep House, Tech House, Minimal, Trance and Progressive House. Melodic, euphoric and atmospheric elements are a recurring part of his style, giving his sets a strong sense of movement without restricting him to one narrow direction.
Over the years, Hans has shared line-ups with artists including Ida Engberg, Butch, Ramon Tapia, Henry Saiz and Airwave. These appearances reflect the range of his interests and his ability to work across different club environments and audiences.
His involvement with electronic music has also extended beyond DJing and radio. Earlier in his career, he contributed interviews, reviews and editorial material to publications including Move-X, Outsoon and BG Update Holland.
Hans has also worked as a producer and remixer under the alias The Mystic Force. That project gave him another outlet for the ideas developed through years of broadcasting, club performances and close involvement with new electronic music.
For his appearance on After Hours 438, Hans Rotationz brings the perspective of a selector with more than two decades of radio experience and a long-standing connection with the European underground scene. His guest contribution adds another dimension to a programme built around depth, melodic progression and international artist exchange.
Hypnotised opens the first hour of After Hours 438 with Marco Bedini's "Dark Bells", introducing Melodic House and Techno before Andre Sobota shifts the programme firmly towards Progressive House with "Early Sign". Gaston Ponte's remix of Echo Daft and Nosh & SJ's treatment of Nico Cerban continue that deeper progressive direction, with Balkan Connection providing a strong early label presence.
Julian Rodriguez and JFR's remix of NAHS keeps the first hour flowing before D. Gol'Man, Dany Dz and Anthony G's remix of Muhammed Felfel with Alyfreeze extend the melodic tension. The Loco remix of Ricardo Piedra's "Home" closes Hypnotised's section, completing a first hour dominated by Progressive House with only the opening track stepping clearly into melodic house and techno.
Hans Rotationz begins the second hour with Mass Digital before Matthias Meyer with Xinobi and Nōpi with Sarah Chilanti establish a warmer Organic House opening. Missus then turns the mix back towards Progressive House, followed by Alex O'Rion's "Mirari" and Nikko Mavridis' remix of Nicolas Benedetti, which deepen the guest set without interrupting its steady progression.
GMJ's "Precipice" keeps the progressive focus intact before Modeplex introduces the second clear Melodic House and Techno selection with "Earth". Across Episode 438, Hypnotised and Hans Rotationz combine a predominantly Progressive House programme with smaller sections of Organic House and Melodic House and Techno. The first hour stays especially focused on progressive material, while the second broadens the palette through its organic opening before returning to the deeper melodic direction that defines the series.
