The show Breed Intelligence featured special guest &Them Records on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, a promoter of events in Singapore, and a music-news platform for Asia and an international audience.
Breed Intel, also known as Alexander McCann, is a DJ and producer from London, UK, who resides in Spain. He has a strong interest in electronic music and close connections to London’s underground music scene.
His music draws on bassy, intelligent, dark and deep production styles, and in 2020 he was returning to the music scene. His creativity is driven by a love of music, while his planned performances included varied studio material scheduled for release.
Breed Intelligence, or Breed Intel, was undergoing a significant rebrand as a record label. Alex works behind the scenes with other DJs and producers to develop the new brand.
By 2020, Alex had spent more than 15 years producing varied music and performing within the underground party scene. His love of many musical genres means that he does not confine himself to one form of electronica.
Breed Intel is committed to presenting emerging producers and artists from around the world. This edition featured favourite Minimal Techno and Progressive House tracks by established industry producers, while the podcast aimed to introduce new content with each episode.
The second half featured &Them Records, whose releases were in development at the time of publication. Their contribution offered an exclusive indication of the sound they planned to release in the following months.

This week's guests are &Them Records, a music label based in Spain. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists like Pig & Dan and Boris Brejecha, &Them Records was born out of a serendipitous encounter between two passionate dance music aficionados on a memorable night.
Their collaboration marked the beginning of a journey that would shape the landscape of electronic music. Since their inception, &Them Records has solidified their partnership and embarked on a creative endeavour to craft new releases that are poised to captivate audiences.
With a strategic plan in place, they are gearing up to introduce their latest works to the world in the upcoming weeks. Opting to maintain a level of mystery and intrigue, &Them Records is strategically positioning itself for a grand reveal, promising a unique and immersive musical experience for its listeners. Breed Intel opened the first hour with Aney F.’s Turn It On on Innocent Music, setting a Deep House foundation. Boris Brejcha followed with Dark Planet on Harthouse, bringing the programme into Peak Time Techno before Get A Room! featuring Yuksek’s Agony & Pain on Partyfine added a Mainstage edge.
Enrico Sangiuliano’s Moon Rocks on Drumcode reinforced the peak-time techno direction with a tougher club focus. Naylo’s Shadow Power on Hungry Koala Records and Boris Brejcha’s I Get No Sleep on FCKNG SERIOUS then moved through Deep Tech House.
Joseph Capriati’s Psychology on Drumcode brought direct Techno into the first hour. Boris Brejcha’s Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven on FCKNG SERIOUS and Matador’s The Enemy on Rukus led into Daso’s Meine on Spectral Sound, with the latter introducing Indie Dance.
&Them Records began the second hour with Animal Trainer’s Endor on Mobilee Records, a measured entry into Tech House. Isolee’s Pisco on Maeve followed, returning the selection to deep tech house textures.
Thodoris Triantafillou featuring Angeliki’s Contact on Nazca introduced Melodic House and Techno to the guest hour. Raxon’s Destiny on Diynamic and Pig&Dan’s Lost Another Angel on Cocoon Recordings developed that melodic, techno-focused approach.
Agents Of Time’s Dream Vision on Afterlife Records sustained the melodic house and techno character before ENØS’s Asgard on Oddity Records added a darker final stretch. Denis Horvat closed with Devlin on Diynamic, completing &Them Records’ contribution with the same poised melodic emphasis.
