Hersiaz Hazi presents Uncharted Frequency 06 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Uncharted Frequencies is a show that airs every two weeks on Scientific Sound Asia, created jointly by Shayekh Mohammad Arif, also known as Dr Moonstruck, from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Hersiaz Hazi from Colombo, Sri Lanka. The programme provides a platform for experimental and underground music from different parts of the globe.
Hersiaz Hazi hosts this edition under the name Hasi Shamalka Silva, an artist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. His interest in electronic music began during his teenage years and led him to explore a range of genres.
Like many DJs, he began by experimenting with Virtual DJ and FL Studio in his bedroom. As his interest in electronic music grew, he focused on progressive House and established a reputation within Colombo's House Music scene.
We welcome this talented young artist to the station. He hosts his own show and also appears in a monthly broadcast on the Progressive Heaven radio show in the United Kingdom.
Uncharted Frequency 06 opens with Guhus' The Eternal Sunshine on Dreamers, introducing an Organic House tone before Eelke Kleijn's Home on DAYS like NIGHTS changes the pace. Guy J's Diagonal on Lost and Found establishes the episode's Progressive House focus.
Supacooks follows with Aftermath from Parquet Recordings, while Agustin Lupidi's Bad Habits arrives via Genesis Music. Rauschhaus' Mockbeat remix of The Ones Who Resist on Anathema Records brings in Melodic House and Techno textures.
Dousk's Cid Inc remix of Whisper Unit on Beat Boutique returns to Progressive House before Rafael Cerato and Mia Mendi's Ordo on Stil Vor Talent adds another melodic House and Techno selection. The middle section then turns towards Stan Kolev through Purpose on Outta Limits and Emotions Attached on Global Groove Collective.
Stan Kolev's Samadhi on Outta Limits keeps that run intact, followed by the Dimuth K remix of Oblivion from Freegrant Music. Innacircle's Freya on Somatic Records gives the programme another melodic House and Techno passage before the set returns to Lupidi.
Agustin Lupidi's Inner Side on Genisis Music leads into Da Luka's Dream Sequence from Sound Teller, retaining the progressive direction. Micheal A's Hypnotic in the Pacco & Rudy D Hypnosis Dosis Mix on Specific Music sits between those selections and Pete K's Subandrio remix of Utopia on Proton Music.
The closing records are SEQU3L's Paul Angelo & Don Argento remix of Jelly Bell on Movement Recording and Shayan Pasha's similarly remixed Excuse on Massive Harmony Records. Together, they complete Hersiaz Hazi's progressive House-led selection with the final remixes carrying the set through its closing stretch.
