Gerard announces playlist for ‘The Hit List’ 044

Gerard presents episode 44 of his weekly programme The Hit List on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.

Gerard is a Deep House, Deep Tech, Tech House and Techno producer and DJ from Angeles City in the United States, with a deep passion for electronic music and a proven method of creating it. He aims to play a part in House music's future through his style of play and production.

At the time of publication, Gerard had returned to Florida, United States, after a period in South East Asia and worked with Scientific Sound Asia's DJ agency. He is also the Nu-Disco manager for Brasbeat, Latin America's first and only digital source for electronic music, and hosts a regular monthly podcast and mix show featuring his charted music.

Gerard's The Hit List episode 44 opens with Zoux's Hong Kong Soul on D-ROM, establishing a Tech House foundation. Shocknorte's Darklight follows on Beiak Records, while Andrew Meller's Josh Butler remix of Watching Her Sleep sustains the club-focused pace.

Lockroom's Decipher, Stefano Cioffi's Flaut and Ben Flem & Marcellus's The Moment broaden the opening section before Camelphat's Freak featuring Cari Golden. NO1NO's Hit Me Back on Outbound Sounds then returns the programme to its Tech House centre.

Victor Vera's Reptilian on Reptilian Music introduces Peak Time Techno with a firmer edge. Ruben Garvi's First, released through D-ROM, answers with House Music before Victor Vera and Andres Arias bring People back to D-ROM.

Pinky's Shut Up on BIRDFEED adds a brief G-House turn to the middle of the set. Ausem FF's Stand Up on UNDR THE RADR and Camelphat's Rabbit Hole featuring Jem Cooke lead into Tete Hernandez's Matt Evans remix of Mormuda on Menomale Music.

Shuttleworth's Self-Conscious brings Deep Tech House into focus, followed by Loudek's Dat Mama on Discovery Deeper. Kevin Yost's The Moonlight on TSOY then shifts into Deep House territory.

LooseJaw's Neither remix of I'm Not Going Down on Whoyostro returns to Deep Tech House, while Hraach's Delirio on DeepClass Records restores the deeper tone. Sosta's Undertable on Bontek Music and Percival's Underground on Celestial Recordings close the programme with the same focused Deep Tech House direction.
