The founding vision was to bring people together internationally through music. Founder Pasindu Dilhara began Secret Underground as a Facebook page for electronic-music posts, which later developed into a Mixcloud podcast and a record label supporting DJs in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka's early rave scene developed a strong appetite for electronic music, shaping the crew's approach to its listeners. At the time of publication, Secret Underground promoted underground events in Sri Lanka while managing its podcast in association with Scientific Sound Asia radio.
The group planned to build the Secret Underground brand internationally. It hoped that work would strengthen connections between artists and music enthusiasts within underground dance music.

This week's guest DJ is Peggy Deluxe, Peggy Deluxe is a DJ who hails from Luxembourg, the capital of Luxembourg. Her DJ journey started aged 18 gaining her first gig in her home city.
Her career was groundbreaking, to say the least, being the first home-born female DJ in her country and gaining notoriety for her skills on the legendary Technics SL 1200 turntables. As her love for vinyl grew she started to lose her early interest in popular music and started to delve into electronic music.
Peggy's favourite highlight of her career was playing at the Love Parade in Berlin where she played her first big Techno event and her break onto the European scene in 1998. Since then Peggy has transformed into Progressive House and this is what she plays more often than not.
The programme opens with Niko Rizzo, Cazap & Boskis' Personal Space on Soundteller Records, establishing a Progressive House foundation. Joel Forsberg's Aegle on Traum brings Deep House into the sequence, before Sandrino and Frankey's Acamar on Innervisions and Gians' Ben Shaw remix of Love Letters Suspended in the Void on Stellar Fountain introduce an Organic House inflection.
Ben Shaw's Above the Clouds on Sudbeat Music returns to the progressive thread, followed by Juan Sapia's Volendam on Just Movement. Sahar Z and Navar's Khen Bronzed Re-Edit of When We Face Reality on Lost & Found leads into Juan Sapia's When We Were Child on Dreamers.
Pachanga Boys' Time on Hippie Dance shifts the selection towards Melodic House and Techno. Soul Button's Armen Miran remix of Utopia, featuring Terry Grant, appears on Steyoyoke before Fernando Olaya's Naturalia on Sonnet Speciale restores the set's progressive focus.
Chicola's Childhood on Lost & Found brings in Peak Time Techno pressure. Khen's Cornfields on Vivran and RIGOONI's Sunk Coast Fallacy on Strangers Beats then return the programme to a patient progressive pace.
Kamilo Sanclemente's Enchanted Forest on Flemcy Music develops that pace before Tamas Skafar's Cyclone on Aftertech Records adds another peak-time techno passage. Kamilo Sanclemente and Andre Moret's Acacias on Balkan Connection follows, with its measured arrangement placing the emphasis back on progressive house.
Kamilo Sanclemente's Hercolobous on Variety Music precedes Khen's Manginot on Lost Miracle, bringing melodic house and techno back into the closing stretch. Stage Van H's Paramythi on Massive Harmony Records and Analog Jungs' Liria on Or Two Strangers complete the set with progressive selections that hold the programme's direction to the end.
