Indian DJ Psy Inertia presents episode 1 of his show on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
DJ Psy Inertia, real name Sai Subramanian, is one of India’s longest-standing DJs, having learned at the ‘SPIN DJ’ academy and held residencies at Tavern, Brighton, Lush, HQ, Purple Haze and Vie Lounge. He has also worked with brands and event agencies, while his sessions are distinctive in character and have connected with his audiences.
Techno, Electronica and Experimental are central to his selections, alongside Deep House, Tech House and a measured approach to Progressive House. He also plays a well-positioned set of Deep House, Tech House and Techno suited to the atmosphere of an event. main ingredients
His sets have been received internationally through broadcasts on Play FM in Austria, Desert Island Decks, Studio Lux FM in Luxembourg, MoreBass Radio in New York and UDMI Radio in Dublin. Further appearances include DHLC Radio in Vienna, Emergency FM in Leeds, HouseFreqs Radio, Housebeat Radio London, Radio Techno Norway, Clubsoundz Radio in Paris and guest sessions on DI.FM.
His influences include Massive Attack, Cristian Paduraru, MJ, Talvin Singh, Greg Kobe, Zeb, Orion Prophecy, Snap, Digital Mess and Dave Clarke. Skream, Morcheeba, Christian Hornbostel, Frankie Knuckles, Sven Vath and Kitaro also inform his ability to vary his selections for the dance floor.
In the year before this August 2020 broadcast, listener support and industry recognition led to deals with Visiomind Records in Vienna. A further release was planned with Mechanic and Tropic Records in Mexico City for a Deep House and Progressive tune.

Clawz SG’s Xanax on Steyoyoke develops the early Melodic House and Techno direction, while Giorgia Angiuli’s Music is Life on Stil Vor Talent adds Deep House detail.
Jose Tabarez’s Paul Angelo Don Argento remix of Mindset on Stellar Fountain and Moritz Hofbauer’s Ceres on Poesie Musik establish the Progressive House centre of the set. Scuba’s Nicole Moudaber remix of Too Strong on Circus Recordings introduces Peak Time Techno before Kasper Koman’s Cid Inc. remix of Hi on Lost & Found.
Malandra Jr.’s James Gill remix of Millenium on Dear Deer Records is followed by Kastis Torrau and Arnas D’s K Nass Blindfold remix of Eye on Sound Avenue. Dirty Vegas’s CamelPhat Extended Remix of Days Go By on New State Music appears before Khainz’s Pollux on Yoshitoshi Recordings returns the programme to Melodic House and Techno.
Kamilo Sanclemente’s Eternal on Songspire and Dmitry Molosh and Michael A’s Twelve Days on Replug keep the Progressive House sequence in focus. Future Culture’s Montw remix of Time to Act on Stellar Fountain and Da Luka’s Paul Angelo Don Argento remix of Focus on Stripped Recordings extend that measured approach.
Fabri Lopez’s Mom and Dad on Balkan Connection leads into the Deep House shading of Dousk’s Scott James remix of Sometimes Shugga on Beat Boutique. DJ Paul (AR)’s NOIYSE PROJECT remix of Nidavellir on Balkan Connection South America precedes Grazze’s Irish Hill on Anjunadeep and EXIT 11’s Night of the Jaguar on Glasgow Underground.
Daniel Neuland’s Criminal on Heinz Music gives way to Rick Eckboch’s Time Glass on Cat Tea Party Records, bringing in Deep Tech House. Axel Karakasis’s ABYSSVM remix of Stable Isolation on Dolma Red, Pete Lazonby’s Renaissance remix of Sacred Cycles on Future Soundz Bundles and BolsteR’s Forms on Orange Recordings close the set with Peak Time Techno and Techno.
