Secret Underground is a record label and event-management company originating in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is a small island in the Indian Ocean and is among the largest crowd bases for Progressive House and underground music in general.
The Sri Lankan scene inspired the Secret Underground crew's vision of uniting people internationally through music. Founding member Pasindu Dilhara started Secret Underground by sharing electronic music-related posts, before it developed into a Mixcloud podcast and record label supporting DJs and producers in his home country.
The early rave scene in Sri Lanka broadened local tastes in music. The crew presents its listeners with considered selections intended to bring enjoyment through electronic music.
At the time of publication, Secret Underground promoted events in Sri Lanka while overseeing its podcast alongside Scientific Sound Asia. The crew planned to build the brand internationally and connect with artists and music enthusiasts within the underground scene.

This weeks guest DJ is Randil, hailing from Sri Lanka, Randil is a DJ who came to the stage to perform as a teen. As he performed his taste in electronic music was refined and he transgressed into Progressive House.
Back in 2018, he started a podcast on Mixcloud called Melodic Dreams which premiers his talents in the progressive genre. In no time he has achieved a good following and crowd base to express his passion for music to his fellow citizens and he can take the dance floor to a whole new level.
Secret Underground 08 with guest DJ Randil opens with Mucaf's Aush on Dreamers and Eric Lune's GMJ remix of Embers on Sound Avenue. Weird Sounding Dude's Hibiscus and Matt Rowan's Kostya Outta remix of Gotcha, both from Balkan Connection, establish the programme's Progressive House focus.
Anton Ishutin's Mike Spirit remix of Mava on Highway Records brings in Deep House before Connor Mac's Lio Q remix of Casablanca on Balkan United returns to Progressive House. Makau and Kagl's Feri remix of Dudub Duuh on Baroque Records leads into Rodrigo Lapena and Gonzalo Sacc's The Artist on Movement Recordings.
Alex O'Rion's Around Us on Mango Alley keeps the programme in Progressive House territory. Aiwaska's Space Food remix of Lunacy feat. Jimmy Wit an H on NCTRNL introduces Melodic House and Techno textures.
Dylan Deck and NOIYSE PROJECT's Oliver & Tom remix of Kamaksha on Visceral brings the selection back towards Progressive House. Casper Keys' Dowden remix of Dreamer on ICONYC Noir follows with Dave Shtorn's Ewan Rill remix of Tribal Dance on Magic Room.
NAHS' Andre Moret remix of Meditation on Massive Harmony Records sustains the set's measured progression. Paul Sawyer's Mir Omar remix of Terminus on Mistique Music carries that direction forward.
Sam Hopgood's Michael A remix of Lobster on Particles precedes Ost & Kjex's Moonwalk remix of Kaputt on Eleatics Records, returning to Melodic House and Techno. Guyro's Van H Backpack remix of Camping In Kashmir Stage on Soundscapes Digital and Tuco and Javier Zubizarreta's Fabri Lopez remix of Fury In Your Soul on Specific Music close the programme in Progressive House mode.
