Marco Mei is an Italian producer and DJ whose career spans more than three decades. His musical work began in his late teens, when he developed an interest in Afrocentric and electronic music.
During the early 1990s, Marco developed his DJ practice in Italy as part of the electronic music collective Urban People. He later appeared on stages around the world alongside artists including Sander Kleinenberg, Roger Sanchez, Ralph Falcon and David Morales.
In the early 2000s, Marco held a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, an important point in his career. His subsequent appearances have included Observatory in Saigon, Fuse in Brussels, Shore Club in Hoi An, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, Woobar in Bali and Global Dance Moscow.
In 2009, Marco formed Bicycle Corporation with fellow Italian Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. The production duo have created more than 50 tracks and remixes together.
Based in Taipei since 2010, Marco works within a wider South East Asian network of clubs, events and electronic music activity. He is available for international bookings through the Scientific Sound Asia DJ agency, and his weekly programme is broadcast through its radio station.
Marco's weekly selections cover Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica and Techno. His episode 25 selection moves through House, Deep House, Tech House, Techno and Electroclash material.

Crystal Waters and DJ Spen's Micfreak Vocal Mix of Party People appears before Dennis Ferrer's MF Remix of Church Lady, a Defected release rooted in House Music. Never Dull and Estelle's Brazilian Boy follows, then Yuksek and Confidence Man's Gorgeous on Sweat It Out brings an Indie Dance turn to the middle of the set.
Johannes Albert's Covered Call on Fine returns the programme to Deep House, before Less Is More's Choices changes the texture. Jayda G's Both Of Us on Ninja Tune restores House Music, and Alex M (Italy)'s Love (Too Many Rules) keeps the club-focused direction in place.
Piero Pirupa's Get You Back on Deeperfect begins a firm Tech House passage. Tuff London's Rhythm System on Sola and Rawz's Luck on Club Session follow before Anna's Redemption broadens the late-set atmosphere.
Audiojack's Inside My Head on Crosstown Rebels brings the sequence back to Tech House, before Giorgia Angiuli's Embrace Me Now on United reaches Peak Time Techno. Golden Boy and Miss Kittin's Alexander Polzin Mix of Rippin Kittin on Ladomat 2000 and Felix Da Housecat with Miss Kittin's Return To The Sun Remix of What Does It Feel Like on Founders Of Filth close the episode through House Music and Indie Dance.
