Gerard presents The Hit List 032 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Gerard is a Deep House, Deep Tech, Tech House and Techno producer and DJ from Angeles City in the United States, with a definite passion for electronic music and a distinctive approach to creating it. He is an emerging international talent who aims to play a part in the future of House Music, broadening its culture and awareness through his style of play and production.
At the time of publication, Gerard had returned to Florida, USA, after a period in Southeast Asia and worked with Scientific Sound Asia. He was also Nu-Disco manager for Brasbeat, Latin America's first and only digital source for electronic music, and hosted a regular show featuring his monthly charted music.
Gerard's The Hit List 032 episode opens with Nick Hogendoorn's Science in Shingo Nakamura's remix, bringing Progressive House detail through Monstercat Silk. Sabb's Audiojack remix of Jeopardized follows on Radiant., before Claes Rosen's Glancing returns to Monstercat Silk.
Eleven.Five's Last Night draws the set into deeper territory on Monstercat Silk, while Auxochrome's Rain Check supplies a house-focused change on Nidra Music. Artbat and Dino Lenny's Upperground then leads into Marsh's extended mix of Belle, another Monstercat Silk selection.
Fritz Carlton and TrCHES, featuring Jackson Englund, bring Forget Who We Are into the sequence before Jelly For The Babies' Try returns to Monstercat Silk. Glide's Air Pusher, also on Monstercat Silk, keeps the middle section focused on spacious club material.
Damian Lazarus' Tibi Dabo remix of Diamond In The Dark introduces Crosstown Rebels, followed by Baghira's Fashionmista on Stereoheaven. Damian Lazarus and The Ancient Moons' Ae-ther Dreaming Dub remix of All I Need To Get High brings Melodic House and Techno into view through Crosstown Rebels.
Cloonee's extended mix of Be Good To Me shifts towards a more direct club approach on Big Beat Records. Gui And Me's On And On precedes Danny Howells' Shortwave, with the latter appearing on Selador.
Purple Disco Machine's Claptone extended mix of Body Funk arrives via Club Sweat before Shur-I-Kan's This Situation closes the core run on Lazy Days Music. The final turn comes through The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony in Amonita and Makebo's remix, ending the programme with a familiar vocal reference recast for the set.
