Anonymous Z presents the third Not So Anonymous show on Scientific Sound Asia, with guest DJ Ernest Kalinin taking the first hour. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Anonymous Z, who takes the second hour, is widely known in Saigon, Vietnam, for founding the Mad Circus Epic parties and Bahrain’s first underground DJ community, Glassroom. He led a diverse group of misfits and hosted official and unofficial parties and afterparties, many of which are still remembered as legendary moments in the local nightlife.
His motto at the time captured the spirit of the movement: “They tried to bury us, but they forgot we were seeds.” After joining the Banana Hustle crew and their high-energy tropical sessions, he helped shape their distinctive sound and playful atmosphere.
Though originally a dedicated Techno head, his passion for digging deeper into music led him to explore Afro, House, Disco and Funk while searching for unique gems. He brings these influences together through hand-picked Techno and the latest Indie Dance.
His DJing has earned him invitations to underground venues including Arcan, The Lighthouse, Broma and the Vitamin D afterparties. His non-linear sets are often fully improvised, guided by the energy of the dance floor and moving fluidly across styles.
With tense, groovy basslines and vivid, storytelling melodies, his performances are playful, emotional and unpredictable.

Guest DJ (first hour) Ernest Kalinin.
As a guest of this third Not So Anonymous show, Ernest Kalinin delivers the first hour with a smooth, groovy blend of eclectic genres. You may have caught his appearances at Epizode Festival in Vietnam or Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand, where his sets earned praise for their atmosphere and versatility.
Originally from Southern Russia and now based in Thailand, Ernest began his DJ career in 2013 and quickly became a welcome guest at nightclubs and lounges across major Asian cities. He is the founder of the music showcase Night Sport, where he plays vinyl and explores a wide spectrum of sounds, including Techno, Deep House, Underground Disco, Acid Rave and Electro Beats.
His inspiration is shaped by nature, people and the cultural experiences gathered throughout his travels, while four Top 100 House music hits on Beatport and Decks.de demonstrate his consistency and creative range. With a unique approach to rhythm and mood, he brings a sound that keeps long-time followers and new listeners moving on the dance floor.
Anonymous Z’s second hour opens with Concret, Cantor’s Ghost (Ending) on Rollover Milano, establishing an Electronica mood before Roliva & Fausto’s Protesis and Detriti Records’ Thalys Theorem. The three selections set a shadowy, minimal opening with the tension that informs the rest of the hour.
Marlon Hoffstadt’s Coach Mike, in Massimiliano Pagliara’s remix for Midnight Themes, brings rhythmic lift and an Italo Disco flair. Rollover DJs’ Tango Ipnotico, remixed by Eric Duncan for Rollover Milano, follows with House Music momentum and a Nu-Disco edge.
Bot’Ox’s Cosmo Vitelli remix of Basement Love on I’m a Cliché deepens the Indie Dance character with a warmer, more playful feel. Moon Rocket’s Funk You! on Moon Rocket Music adds a direct Dance Music charge through its bass lines and percussion.
SPF5000’s Paraiso, in the Hex Afro Disco Dub on Soul Clap Records, brings Afro Disco texture to the centre of the set. Vhyce’s Rainbow Overdrive on Future Disco then brightens the mix with synth work while retaining its Indie Dance focus.
Niko Schwind’s Darlyn Vlys remix of Acid on Stil Vor Talent raises the pressure with an acid-edged finish to the club-focused section. Marcello Giordani’s Disco SPacer remix of Oh! Superman, issued through Italians Do It Better and Disco Spacer, introduces a distinctive Darkwave shade before the close.
Abstraxion’s Resonance on Biologic Records closes the hour with emotional depth and an electronic haze. Its measured final mood gives the sequence a reflective conclusion after the preceding synths, acid and disco-inflected material.
