Gerard’s ‘The Hit List’ 29 Uploaded To Mixcloud

Gerard's The Hit List episode 29 features first-hour guest Diego Valle, with Gerard appearing in the second hour, on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.

Gerard, who appears in the second hour, is a Deep House, Deep Tech, Tech House and Techno producer and DJ from Angeles City in the United States with a definite passion for electronic music and a distinctive approach to creating it. He aimed to become a significant part of House music's future, broadening its culture and awareness through his style of play and production.

At the time of publication, Gerard had returned to Florida, U.S.A., after a period in South East Asia and worked with Scientific Sound Asia's DJ agency. He was also Nu-Disco manager for Brasbeat, Latin America's first and only digital source for electronic music, and hosted a regular podcast and mix show featuring his charted music each month.

Guest DJ (first hour) Diego Valle.

The first-hour guest DJ is Diego Valle, who has evolved as an artist without losing the rush of passion that first brought him into electronic music. Over the years, he developed a distinctive and influential sound through the connections between deep house, tech-house and techno.

In the preceding years, Diego's studio work led to the launch of his own imprint, LTHM, initially as an avenue for releasing his music. It became an internationally recognised label, while his weekly podcast, begun in 2011 under the LTHM name, offered a taste of his style.

Diego has also delivered releases for labels including Listen: React, Miaw, Constructive Cycle, Dream Mode, Phantom Recordings, Vursatil, Confederation Records, Ravesta Records, Selekta Recordings and his own LTHM imprint. His productions have a clearly defined yet pliable and versatile sound.

He is also involved with Sol Sundaze, an outdoor patio day party held during the summer months, and HMNI, a crew behind all-night warehouse parties. HMNI also runs as a bi-monthly radio show on Deep House Lounge, where Diego is a resident DJ, and his creative work follows his vision, passion and love of music.

Gerard's The Hit List 29 with Diego Valle opens with Petit Batou's Leaves Fall on Kanja Records, establishing a Minimal foundation before Prince.L's Ordinary Day on Beyond The Music brings in Deep Tech House. Yulia Niko and Coro Coro's Molly & Sally, in Mihai Popoviciu's remix for Get Physical Music, introduces Melodic House and Techno before Esven's Mihi, remixed by Diego Valle for LTHM, returns to Deep Tech House.

Willian Pires' Get Up in Daladje's remix on Casa Do Conde leads into Nebulaee's Xtraction on PURISM Wave, retaining the deep, reduced club focus. Mr. Bremson's Soul, in the Refound Mix on Selekta Recordings, brings forward Deep House, while Roger Gerressen's Don't Be Neutron on Yoyaku holds the stripped-back mood.

Silat Beksi's Flow on Winder adds another Deep Tech House cut before Salmanazar's r.hitect remix of Objects for Joule Imprint turns towards Minimal Techno. Jamahr's Underwater on Politics Of Dancing Digital then precedes Hraach and Armen Miran's Nowhere, which supplies the set's Organic House passage.

Armen Miran and Hraach's Light follows Nowhere, before Paul Deep's Ironic Reality on Sudbeat Music moves into Progressive House. Mark Alow's White Tusk makes room for Erdi Irmak's Zura on Variety Music, bringing the selection back towards Deep House.

Oliver Schories' Maia provides the next transition, followed by Matias Chilano's Analog Ghosts on Sudbeat Music and its progressive-house character. Olivier Giacomotto's Bipolar Star on Noir Music sharpens the pressure with Tech House.

Luigi Gori and Frankye Lova's Racy, in Starkato's remix, keeps the progressive thread active near the close. Frankey's Dream on Poker Flat Recordings finishes the programme with Deep Tech House, returning the final record to the focused club sound heard earlier.
