After Hours 424 features Hypnotised in the opening hour before guest DJ Radieux takes over for the second part of the programme on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
Originally from Ghent, Belgium, he developed his musical background during a period when events such as I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno were an important part of the country's electronic music culture. His early DJing covered several styles before his direction gradually settled around deeper Progressive House, melodic structures and Techno-influenced rhythms.
His sets are built around gradual progression, atmosphere and carefully layered melody rather than abrupt changes in direction. That approach has become central to both his solo work and his long-running involvement with After Hours alongside fellow Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe.
Together, Hypnotised and PatriZe developed After Hours as a platform for underground Progressive House and related electronic music. The programme combines their own selections with guest appearances from DJs and producers working across the international scene.
He has also appeared through radio platforms including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio and DI.FM during his career. These appearances helped extend his reach beyond Belgium while keeping his work closely connected with Progressive House and underground electronic music.
His DJ career has included appearances alongside artists such as Marco Bailey, Purple Disco Machine and Nick Bril. He has also performed at events including Amsterdam Dance Event and Deep on Deck Festival in South Africa, adding to a career that has taken his music beyond his home country.
In 2015, he became closely involved with AH Digital alongside PatriZe and expanded his work into production. Their collaboration People from the Otherworld became an early milestone, reaching number four in Beatport's Progressive House chart while also entering its Techno and Tech House rankings.
The title track from People from the Otherworld was later remixed by Rui Da Silva, adding another established producer to the release. Hypnotised continued developing his catalogue through AH Digital and labels including Bonzai Progressive, SLC-6 Music and Vesta Records.
His Infinity EP became another notable release, reaching number two in Beatport's Progressive House and Trance charts and number three in its Techno ranking. These results reflected the overlap between the melodic, progressive and more driving elements present throughout his production work.
In 2016, Hypnotised introduced the Man on the Moon alias with Sense on Bonzai Progressive. The project gave him another outlet for exploring the atmospheric and melodic side of his sound and was followed by further production activity and remix work.
AH Digital remains an important part of Hypnotised's work as both producer and label manager, connecting his studio output with a wider network of Prog House artists. His involvement with the label also maintains a direct relationship between new music, radio support and the DJs featured through After Hours.
Guest DJ (second hour) Radieux.
This edition’s guest DJ is Radieux, a Slovenian DJ and producer who later relocated to Serbia. His musical range includes Progressive House, Deep and Tribal House, Melodic House and Tech House, with his sets generally centred on deeper and rhythm-led club music.
In 2012, Radieux co-founded the vinyl label Doue Music, which developed through releases and associated label events. After a period away from regular activity, he returned to production with a renewed focus on deeper Progressive House and related electronic styles.
His catalogue has appeared through labels including Bonzai, Dear Deer, Suma, Artessa, Raving Society, Delicious Recordings, Soundteller Records, AH Digital, Beat Boutique and Planet Ibiza Music. His DJ career has also taken him to events across the United States, Austria, Turkey, Russia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia.
Radieux has shared line-ups with artists including Frankie Knuckles, Nic Fanciulli, Maetrik, John Digweed, Loco Dice, Kiko Navarro, Nick Warren, Solomun, James Zabiela, Tensnake and Tiger Stripes. Those appearances reflect a career connected with several generations of House and Progressive House artists rather than one narrowly defined scene.
More recent releases include Here Comes the Storm and Waterfalls and Us through Soundteller Records, with the latter receiving a remix from Gai Barone. His 2024 track Inks and Letters also appeared on Soundteller Records with remixes from Christian Monique and Lexicon Avenue, while his remix of Daniel Testas’ On a Moon River was released through AH Digital.
Further recent work includes Once In Asmat on Beat Boutique, By the Wind on Planet Ibiza Music and the collaborations Scintilla and Quasars with Redspace on RKP. His appearance on After Hours 424 places that production background within a programme closely connected with the deeper and more melodic side of Progressive House.
Hypnotised opens the first hour of After Hours 424 with Amol Reon and Nosh SJ's Fairy Tales, setting a clear Progressive House direction that remains consistent throughout his entire section. Fabri Lopez's remix of Dimuth K and Shannon Davin and DJ San with Sebastian Moore keep the early stages melodic and controlled, while Tenerfuse's Perseidian Dawn continues the gradual build.
Cid Inc.'s Turning Pages in Alex O'Rion's Marathon Edit gives the middle of the hour a broader, more expansive feel before Bynomic's remix of Ramin Helvet maintains the deeper progressive atmosphere. Nipocra, NAHS and Nikko Mavridis then complete Hypnotised's set through a measured run of long-form arrangements and steady rhythmic development.
Radieux changes the colour of the programme immediately with Sparrow & Barbossa's remix of Pippi Ciez and Idd Aziz, introducing Afro House before Saint Rolo and Massimino Lippoli extend that percussion-led opening. Marius Drescher's remix of Sezer Uysal then shifts the second hour towards Deep House, creating a smoother bridge into the more melodic material that follows.
KANPAI's Fake Cross introduces Melodic House and Techno before Sonic Union's remix of Sagou and Sounom and Marius Drescher's remix of Olivier Weiter return briefly to progressive territory. Goom Gum's Flora then pushes the set back towards a more pronounced melodic drive, while Andromeda RU provides another deeper interlude with Circle.
Ivan Masa's remix of GIGEE begins the closing stretch before Paradoks, SUZé and James Marley maintain the melodic focus through the final selections. Across After Hours 424, Hypnotised's first hour stays firmly rooted in Progressive House, while Radieux broadens the second half through Afro House, Deep House and Melodic House and Techno without losing the gradual, atmospheric character of the programme.
