El Brujo And The Wild Bunch episode 07 uploaded to Mixcloud

El Brujo presents The Wild Bunch episode 07 with guest Mudd Zedd on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian and international electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform.

Born Robert Milanesi in Italy in 1964, he developed an early connection with music before becoming closely associated with Bologna's underground rave scene from 1994. His involvement during that period helped establish the foundations for a career that later expanded into production, label work and international electronic music.

His first official release arrived in 2008 with Warriors on the Milan-based label Open Legs. That release marked the beginning of a catalogue that would continue across Techno and related underground styles.

In 2010, he launched Jambalay Records, with the label's opening party held at Club Geminis in Ibiza harbour. The project gained wider international attention the following year when Maya Jane Coles included music connected with the label in her February 2011 chart.

That chart featured his collaboration with Big Mojo, The Way to Mozambique, which also appeared on his first physical CD release, Nutty Fellas Are Go. The track became one of the early releases to introduce his work to a broader international audience.

In January 2019, Plastic Dreams, originally released through Frameworkxx, reached number 33 in Beatport's Hard Techno Top 100. The result added another milestone to a catalogue already built through years of independent releases.

He has released music through labels including Elektrax, Frameworkxx, LW Recordings, Subwoofer, Berlin After Dark, Music Is The Drug, Gobekli Tepe, Fortwin Rec, Bunker, Mad Rhythm, SE7ENS and Physical Techno. His productions have explored different areas of underground electronic music while retaining the raw and space-influenced character that runs through much of his work.

His show brings together DJs and producers connected with his wider circle of artists and collaborators. Each edition gives a guest space to select music from across the collective's network alongside promos and tracks from associated producers.

This edition’s second hour features Mudd.Zed, a DJ and Techno producer from Göttingen, Germany. His connection with music began at the age of eight through guitar, long before electronic music became the main focus of his work.

Growing up, he listened to a wide range of styles including Reggae, Hip Hop and Hardcore Punk, while initially having little interest in electronic music. That changed after he discovered club culture in his early twenties and began exploring Techno more seriously.

Inspired by artists including Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Sterac and Shifted, he became drawn towards darker and more atmospheric forms of the genre. He began DJing and producing soon afterwards, developing a sound shaped by the deeper and more hypnotic side of it.

In 2018, he made his Beatport debut with releases through Vinyllover Recordings and Blackaud Recordings. His connection with Blackaud also developed through his friendship with Kreissystem, supporting the label through event organisation and digital releases.

During 2019, his production activity expanded further through connections with labels including Pure Dope Digital, Technological Records, Torchmood Records and Dead Groovy Music. His appearance on The Wild Bunch places that production background alongside a guest set centred on the darker underground sound that shaped his development as a DJ.

The Wild Bunch episode 07 opens with two of his own Hard Techno productions, He's A Dope Dealer and The Dealer, establishing an uncompromising start before the Cristian and Makaja Gonzales remixes of 2121 Parallel Dimensions shift the session towards Peak Time Techno. His original And There Were None and DJ D ReDD's remix continue that driving pressure, keeping El his productions at the centre of the opening run.

Tawa Girl's Blackout maintains the force before her remix of A-Gain's Viendo la Luz pushes the sound back towards harder territory, followed by Au Lever Du Soleil and two Makaja Gonzales cuts that restore the peak driving focus. Teknotik and El Brujo then combine on Doppler Fx and I Control The Night, bringing a broader Techno sound into the latter stages before Blue Chilled Kurassow Part 1 closes the hour with an unexpected Ambient comedown.

Mudd Zedd begins the second hour with Keah and Hemka before End Train's Infinite Universe pulls the programme into the deeper repetition of Deep Techno. Tim Tama's Ebb and Flow then introduces the programme's sole Acid House influence before KreisSystem brings the intensity sharply upwards again with Unexpected Coexistence.

Desroi provides a straighter transition before Hector Oaks and Mudd.Zed with Zephixx restore the driving momentum through Please Proceed To The Nearest Exit and We Died A Thousand Lives. Benjamin Damage and Moerbeck then deepen the atmosphere with Ripple and Tesla, using raw, hypnotic structures to create a darker middle passage before Robert S and Hemka raise the pressure once again.

D.Dan's Take It Easy brings another raw and hypnotic turn before Marina Aleksandra's Equality Error returns to a direct framework. Randomer's Fear and Sugar's Krankengymnastik close the programme with two final Peak Time selections, completing a second hour that balances deeper repetition with forceful club pressure.

Across The Wild Bunch 7, the host and guest build two distinct but connected hours, with the host focusing heavily on his own productions, remixes and collaborators before the guest widens the palette through Tresor, Figure, Code Is Law, Balans and Lobster Theremin. The result is a programme dominated by Peak Time and Driving material, supported by Hard, deeper hypnotic selections, Acid and an unusual Ambient finish to the first hour.
