Gerard, also known as Tim Jones of DeviceRATT, presents The Hit List 21 on Scientific Sound Asia, with guest DJ Hugh Def featured in the second hour. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Gerard, who plays the first hour, is a disc jockey and producer from Angeles City in the United States with a strong interest in production and electronic music. His work focuses on a range of House music styles, with the aim of broadening their appeal to listeners.
By 2020, Gerard had relocated to China and was an artist with Scientific Sound Asia's DJ agency, having secured club residencies in China and planned regular performances around South East Asia. He also held a management role with Brasbeat, Latin America's first and only digital source for electronic music, and hosted a regular podcast and mix show featuring his charted music for followers.

Hugh Def [Vision Collective Recordings, Mood24] hails from Cork, Ireland. He is one half of Jazz House duo Motiva and also releases quirky House music under his own name.
Hugh played at festivals and club nights around Ireland and South East Asia over several years, earning a reputation for selecting funky, groovy and distinctive cuts from a wide spectrum of dance sub-genres. He was resident DJ at T&R Saigon, playing House and Disco before moving to Hanoi and later relocating to Ireland.
Hugh has a substantial back catalogue of releases, including his latest Deep House tracks, The Gambler and Passing By. The Gambler is an atmospheric, deep and jazzy track with a solid groove, while Passing By is a mellower, laid-back piece with subtle sounds and tones suited to late-night sessions.
Gerard's The Hit List 21 with Hugh Def opens with Space Dimension Contoller's Petrichor before Move D and Pete Namlook's Nite Out on Fax +49-69/450464 brings in Techno. Verhat's B1 follows, keeping the opening sequence focused on stripped-back electronic selections.
IULY.B's Spaceport on Constant Sound introduces Tech House, followed by Anton Pau's P Loop (Alexander Kyosev Interpretation). Hart and Neenan's Catch 22 (Mr. Deka Spacetravel Mix), released through Downhill Music, takes the set into Deep Tech House territory.
Zendid's Understlite precedes Oshana's Day 21 on Partisan (2) and Vinyl Speed Adjust's Retro on Visionquest, extending the Tech House passage. Varhat's Traveling gives way to East End Dubs' Do Dis Ting on East End Dubs Vinyl, a Minimal cut that reduces the arrangement further.
Ben Rau's Forme on Drumma Records and Mike Sharon's Space Ride on EWax establish the set's Deep House centre. Madota's Rangi on Saisons then introduces the more spacious phrasing of Organic House.
Death on the Balcony's Lense Of Our Lives on Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings returns to Deep House, before Josh Butler and Olly Davis's Dimension (CET) on ORIGINS RCRDS adds another measured club cut. Gorge's Take U on Global Underground and Dachshund's As If By Magic on Gruuv retain that late-night House focus.
Nhar's Mediolanum on Seven Villas and Rony Seikaly's Gorge remix of Understand on Stride lead into Newman (I Love)'s Written in the Language of Dreams on All Day I Dream. Hraach and Armen Miran's NowHere on Hoomidaas, Steffen Deux's Markus Homm remix of Dragonfly, and Modd's Vishaya on Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings bring the programme towards Route 94's extended mix of Close on DFTD.
