Deysa presents Techno Show Episode 14 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Romanian DJ and producer Deysa launched her resident show, "Friday Fever", on the Romanian online radio station Radio DEEA in 2009. That early programme brought her into the underground music scene of Romania, and her debut in 2010 led to recognition among the new wave of techno DJs.
Her work combines different electronic sounds and genres, attracting online audiences in Romania, across Europe and further afield. This approach has also earned respect within Romania's underground music community.
Deysa's sets bring together deep, emotive melodies and pulsating rhythms, with techno central to her musical identity. Her productions and performances explore new musical territory while developing the Underground Romanian Sound.
She has influenced the Deep and Tech House scene in her native country through her work as a DJ and producer. Her performances have reached audiences both in Romania and abroad.
Her venue appearances include Studio Martin and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, as well as Space in Ibiza, Zebra in Bacau, La Gazette in Cluj, Arenele Romane and Control Club in Bucharest. She has also performed at Rivolta Marghera in Italy and Illusion in Montenegro.
Beyond club work, Deysa has appeared at Romanian festivals including Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, I Love Festival, Felsziget and Electric Castle. These appearances established her presence within the country's electronic music scene.
In 2016, she served as resident DJ at Molotov, an electronic music bar in Vama Veche on Romania's Black Sea coast. During that residency, she shared the stage with Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss of Faithless, Nastia, Jose Maria Ramon, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, Ali Nasser, Makam, The Model, Herodot, Simina Grigoriu, Ray Okpara and Federico Molinari, among others.
At the time of publication, Deysa held the role of Manager at LETS Techno Records and planned occasional guest appearances from label DJs on her programme. She was also part of Scientific Sound Asia's DJ agency roster, with bookings and performances across the Asian techno scene anticipated.
Deysa's Techno Show Episode 14 opens with Frankie Bones' Call It Techno in Carlo Lio's remix on Intec, followed by Kaiserdisco's Hydra on Tronic. Kostas Maskalides' Furnace on Phobiq and Layton Giordani's Secrets of Vibration on Drumcode establish the programme's Peak Time Techno focus.
Leonardo Gonnelli's Whaa, in Mathias Kaden's Work That Straight Remix for dig dis! Series, introduces a more percussive Tech House passage. Loco & Jam answer with Acid Control on Suara, before Layton Giordani's Take It Back on Drumcode returns the intensity.
Loco & Jam and Matt Sassari's Hit The Ground on Alleanza keeps the pressure up before Oscar Mulero's Tensal digital bonus remix of Rotar on PoleGroup changes the texture. Its Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) character gives the central section a darker, more concentrated feel.
Maetrik's Ninex 7-c on Clash Lion restores the direct momentum, with Marcus Meinhardt and Khainz's Bart Skils remix of Caribic Royal on WHATIPLAY following closely behind. Perc and Gazelle Twin's Look What Your Love Has Done To Me on Perc Trax then brings another raw and deep techno turn.
Aitor Ronda's Tweezer on ELEVATE and Weska's Voyage on Kraftek push the set forward before Hidden Empire's Transcending Time on Stil Vor Talent broadens the palette. That record brings in Melodic House and Techno without losing the programme's club-focused edge.
Distant Echoes' Desolated Society on Rhythmath and Keith Carnal's Rijwiel on Arts draw the closing stretch back towards tense, stripped-back techno. Dusty Kid's Doom on ISOLADE and Etapp Kyle's Continuum on Unterton lead into Minilogue's Existensberättigande on Cocoon Recordings, ending with Minimal Techno.
