Igor Hush presents Immersion 04 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Igor Hush, whose real name is Igor Romanchuk, is a DJ from Chervyen, Belarus. He is a well respected performer within Minsk's underground scene, which has expanded rapidly in the Belarusian capital.
Igor spent summers in Minsk, performing at venues and festivals across the city, before travelling to Asia as winter approached. During those winter tours, he played venues in Goa, India, Koh Phangan, Thailand, and Bali, Indonesia.
His principal styles are Tech House, including Minimal and Deep Tech, alongside Afro House and Techno, with the selection shaped by the venue and crowd. His sets are enchanting to the ear.
Igor Hush's Immersion 04 episode opens in Tech House territory, setting a firm club rhythm from the outset. Detlef's Music Please on Repopulate Mars leads into Wade and Dani Rovira's Por Ejemplo on Be One Records.
Ren Phillips and YINGYANG (UK) bring He Said She Said from iCompilations, followed by Saeed Younan's Get Up on Intec. Farius's Frederick & Kusse version of Make This Last on Zerothree and Novodisc's Thomas Dinx remix of Everybody on Clarisse Records keep the opening run focused.
Fran DC's Blacksoul on Nervous Records gives way to Siege and Jerrymore's Isla Blanca, before DJ Fronter's Chitown on elrow Music and Lonely's GRECO (NYC) remix of Blessoul on Rawsome Recordings. Oscar De Rivera and Ismael Rivas then bring Drumfunk on Stereo Productions Catalog into House Music, while FreedomB's Groove Theory returns to iCompilations.
Niceteed and Markmoas appear with Dat Dough, after which Paul Cart's Get the Fuck Up on La Pera Records and Ren Phillips's Wham Bam on Lost Audio increase the pressure. Rich Wakley's No One Can Stop This precedes Leo Sanchez and Edwin Rosillo's People Gone Be Crazy on Indiefy, then George Privatti and Guille Placencia's Cha Cha Cha on elrow Music.
Drumworks' Secuencia 32 on Magic Beatz and Anoite's Bazaar on Habitat sustain the percussive middle section. Pleight's Gobu on Deep Bear, Ernest & Frank's Fizzy on Pure Enjoyment Recording and Jairo Delli's Rumble In The Jungle on Roush Label carry that momentum onwards.
Francesco Dinoia's No Groove is followed by Bassel Darwish's GRECO (NYC) remix of Speak on Rawsome Recordings and George Privatti and Guille Placencia's Downtown on elrow Music. Lux's Automatic leads into Dario Lotti and Paul Adam's God of House on kluBasic plus, before Alex Neuret's Dabolina on Witty Tunes, Matthew Palmerston's Dancin' on Cutting Wax, Martin Occo and Dissolut's Ice Cream on NastyFunk Records, Stereotipe's After Ball, Francesco Dinoia's Don't Stop and Dissolut's Hip-House on Nulab close the programme.
