Deysa presents Techno Show 13 on Scientific Sound Asia, with her full techno playlist. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Deysa, a Romanian DJ and producer, made her mark on the music scene in 2009 through her resident show, "Friday Fever", on Radio DEEA, a prominent Romanian online radio station. The programme brought her to the attention of Romania's underground scene and listeners elsewhere in Europe.
Since her 2010 debut, Deysa has established herself among a new generation of DJs, with a distinctive style recognised by online listeners and the wider underground community. Her work is associated with the Underground Romanian Sound and helped raise the profile of Deep and Tech House in Romania.
Deysa has shared her passion for the genre at Studio Martin and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, Space in Ibiza, Zebra in Bacau, La Gazette in Cluj, Arenele Romane and Control Club in Bucharest, Rivolta Marghera in Italy, and Illusion in Montenegro. She has also appeared at Romanian festivals including Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, I Love Festival, Felsziget and Electric Castle, among others.
In 2016, Deysa was resident DJ at Molotov, an electronic music bar in Vama Veche on Romania's Black Sea coast. During that residency, she performed alongside Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss of Faithless, Nastia, Jose Maria Ramon, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, Ali Nasser, Makam, The Model, Herodot, Simina Grigoriu, Ray Okpara and Federico Molinari, among others.
Deysa later became manager at LETS Techno Records, where guest DJs from the label occasionally feature on her show. She is also part of the Scientific Sound Asia DJ agency roster, bringing her individual sound to the Asian underground scene.
Deysa's Techno Show 13 episode opens in Peak Time Techno territory with Tomiac's Transposition on Kuukou Records. Jagerhertz follows with No Way Out, also on Kuukou Records, adding a direct Techno profile.
Knobs' Tecnolicious on Gynoid Audio brings a raw, deep and hypnotic techno edge before Stiv Hey's Waves of Light returns to Kuukou Records. The programme then holds its peak-time focus through Tawa Girl's Inspiration and Hector da Rosa's Spinning Globe, both released by LETS TECHNO Records.
Deysa's remix of A*S*Y*S' Acid Test provides a personal contribution without a confirmed genre classification in the supplied track evidence. Roby M Rage's Mercury on LETS TECHNO Records follows, keeping the set's forceful electronic direction intact.
Weska's Stellr Tidal Disruption on Filth on Acid reinforces the peak-time pressure before Emmanuel's Entroterra on Arts returns to the deeper, more hypnotic side of the programme. Ilija Djokovic's Epica, again on Filth on Acid, and Niereich's Morpheus on Darknet bring those contrasting approaches together.
Nihil Young and POLS contribute Apriori on Kuukou Records, followed by Jonas Kopp's Alkitran on Stroboscopic Artefacts. Michael Schwarz's Reincarnation on Elektrax Music and JOANISH's The Great Hike on Kuukou Records keep the later section focused on firm, club-oriented selections.
Mario Ochoa's Become Human on Tronic and Barbur's Its Berlin on Kuukou Records set up the closing stretch. Eitan Reiter's Pyramid (Dusty Kid Adventures Mix) on Digital Structures brings in Melodic House and Techno for the final record.
