Deysa announces the playlist for her Techno Show episode 12

Deysa presents her Techno Show episode 12 on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music radio station, promoter, and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.

Deysa, a Romanian DJ and producer, entered the techno scene in 2009 with her resident show, Friday Fever, on Radio DEEA, Romania’s online station for underground techno. The show helped establish her reputation within Romania’s underground techno culture.

Since her 2010 debut, Deysa has become a figure among a new generation of techno artists. Her techno mixes have reached online audiences and the wider underground techno community throughout Europe.

As a founding member of the Underground Romanian Sound, Deysa has promoted techno events and raised the profile of Romania’s deep and techno house scene. Her connection to techno has been heard at Studio Martin and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, Space in Ibiza, Zebra in Bacau, and La Gazette in Cluj.

She has also performed at Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, I Love Festival, Felsziget, and Electric Castle. In 2016, Deysa became resident DJ at Molotov, an electronic music bar on the Black Sea coast in Vama Veche, Romania.

Her career has included sharing the decks with Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss of Faithless, Nastia, Jose Maria Ramon, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, and others. These appearances placed her within the techno rave scene.

At the time of publication, Deysa held a managerial role at LETS Techno Records, where guest DJs from the label could occasionally feature on her show. Her planned work in the Asian underground techno scene included events and performances centred on her own style and approach to techno music.

Deysa opens Techno Show 12 with Tomiac’s “Transposition” before Jagerhertz, Knobs and Stiv Hey establish the programme’s tightly focused Techno direction. Kuukou Records appears repeatedly throughout the set, giving the opening section a consistent contemporary techno framework.

Tawa Girl and Hector Da Rosa lead into Deysa’s remix of ASY*S’ “Acid Test,” introducing the clearest Acid Techno element in the programme. Roby M Rage follows before Weska’s “Stellar Tidal Disruption” pushes firmly into Peak Time Techno, with the Filth On Acid release officially classified in that category.

Emmanuel and Ilija Djokovic maintain the harder club direction before Niereich and Nihil Young with Pols carry the selection into its middle section. Jonas Kopp’s “Alkitran” then brings in Deep Techno, with its Stroboscopic Artefacts release officially classified as raw, deep and hypnotic techno.

Michael Schwarz and Joanish precede Mario Ochoa’s “Become Human,” another confirmed peak-time techno track released through Tronic. Barbur follows before Eitan Reiter closes the programme through Dusty Kid’s treatment of “Pyramid,” giving the final stretch a slightly more melodic electronic character without changing the show’s overall techno identity.

Across Techno Show 12, Deysa concentrates on peak-time techno and deeper raw techno with a smaller acid component. The combination of Kuukou, Filth On Acid, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Tronic and ARTS makes this one of the more tightly techno-focused editions of the series.
