DJ Foxy Tail presents DJ Foxy Tail Guest Show 05 In Touch on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Katya, known as DJ Foxy Tail, is a Russian DJ active in the Asian music scene and represented by Scientific Sound Asia. She brings a positive outlook and clear ambitions to sets that move through electronic music, with particular attention to tech house, progressive house and techno.
Her experience as a dancer has informed her understanding of the music that can energise an audience. She has DJed extensively in Russia and appeared at the ten-day Green Family festival in Sochi, Russia.
DJ Foxy Tail has also played in Bali and on Indonesia's Gili Air Islands, as well as in Goa, India, where she hosted events called Spread the light at the end of her last season there. Her background includes residencies at Otres Bar in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, the Police beach open-air parties on Koh Rong Island, Cambodia, and Arcan, an underground club in Saigon.
After returning to Russia, she performed at venues across her home country and the Middle East. Her approach combines music, dance and an engaging presence behind the decks.
The programme opens with Raw Main's Origin's on Day Tales, introducing an Electronica edge before Öona Dahl's Veil Enchantress on Holograma settles into Deep House. Juan's Rosita Feat. Claudia Cesilia and Los Cabra's Christ Burstein Manuel Sahagun extend the opening passage without forcing an unverified genre classification.
Bloem's Zikomo on Abracadabra Music and Onur Ozman's Logic Gates on Sincopat bring in Melodic House and Techno. Space Motion follows with New Mountains Calling and Stress, both on MNL, before Tribe moves into Afro House.
Moscoman and The Organism's Rite, released through Disco Halal, supplies an Indie Dance change of texture alongside Underground Ticket's Leave (Cosmonaut Remix). Stan Kolev's Selcouth on Eleatics Records returns the set to Progressive House.
Alexey Union and Batuko's Lose Control on NOPRESET Records introduces House Music, while Gabriel featuring Man Without A Clue's Back It Up is left without an unconfirmed genre claim. Oxia's Domino on Armada Music Albums and Bedouin's Guacamole on Crosstown Rebels then restore the deep-house focus.
Archive's Again (Maceo Plex Remix) leads into DJ Tennis's Divisions (Roman Flügel Remix) on Life And Death, returning to melodic house and techno. Mystic Bill's U Won't C Me on Nu Groove Records gives way to Volen Sentir's Fatoumata on Shanti Radio, where Organic House softens the pace before Fatoumata's Nagar on Sol Selectas.
Victhor's Azteca on COYA MUSIC brings in Tech House, followed by Simon Vuarambon's deep-house Alcyon on All Day I Dream and Gregory S and Peter Makto's Martha. Mr Raoul K, Rancido and Sona Diabate's Tamale on Compost Records, Kenny Brian's Ay Caramba on Resopal Schallware, Au/Ra and CamelPhat's Panic Room (Jonas Rathsman Remix), and Guy Gerber's What To Do (&me Remix) on Rumors carry the set through Afro house, tech house, progressive house and melodic house and techno to its close.
