Green Snake Records Sessions 046, featuring Future Culture and Bolgarin, is presented on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Established in 2009, Green Snake Records began as a collaboration between a Russian-Australian label and Bellarine Recordings. Since August 2009, the label has operated independently as a Russian entity under the leadership of Samotarev, releasing progressive house, tech house, deep house and techno from Russian and international artists.
Future Culture A.K.A Daniel Rajan.
The first hour features Future Culture, the project curated by Indian DJ/Producer Daniel Rajan. Future Culture expresses Daniel's interpretation of the progressive fusion of sound and art in his music.
The logo depicts a crystal or crystalline substance, with components arranged in a microscopic pattern that forms a crystal lattice extending in every direction. In ancient times, this substance was often used for divination.
Daniel reinterprets this concept through ideas informed by his connection to Indian culture. Future Culture brings together his interest in technology, design, art and music with the memories he has accumulated as an Indian musician over the years.
Daniel expresses this creativity through Futuristic Electronic Dance Music. His work aims to establish a place for the project within the performing arts.
Bolgarin doing the trade he loves.
Bolgarin, the second hour's guest, is a DJ and producer from St. Petersburg, Russia, and has been active in the local electronic music scene for more than two decades. A passionate vinyl collector, he advocates a profound connection with music and outdoor dance activities.
At the time of publication, he was creating and promoting his own musical work. His collaborations with labels including Green Snake, Seven Villas and Soviett established him as an artist with a distinctive sound.
Following two singles on Green Snake, he devoted considerable time to developing his production skills. His melodic deep single Ascension marked a significant release in his musical work.
The original track received recognition on its release. It was accompanied by remixes from Following Light and Kazancev, which brought further dimensions to the composition.
The Green Snake Sessions 046 with Future Culture and Bolgarin opens with Analog Jungs' Particle in its Tripswitch Remix, released by Or Two Strangers, setting a Progressive House foundation. Bolgarin's Ascension, in Kazancev's remix for Green Snake Records, introduces Breaks to the opening hour.
Rodriguez Jr.'s Okeechobee on Systematic Recordings brings in Deep House before Delum's Lobotomy on Sudam Recordings adds an Afro House edge. Monastetiq's Deep Inside on OKO Recordings returns to progressive house, while Dosem's Message on Suara introduces Tech House.
Enamour and Rinzin's Quark on Yoshitoshi Recordings brings Melodic House and Techno into the first hour. Ricardo Piedra's Lily on the Hill on Zephyr Music and Pryda's The Drive on Pryda Recordings close Future Culture's selection with progressive house momentum.
In the second hour, Bolgarin moves into Peak Time Techno through Loco Dice's Seeing Through Shadows on Minus and DJ Madskillz's Down The Rabbit Hole on 100% Pure. Electric Tease's Limbo, in Metta & JT Love's Remix for Automatic Records, then returns the programme to progressive house.
Audio Soul Project's Everything Is Alright in the Audio Soul Dark Touch version on NRK brings in Electro. Franck Roger's Wanderlust, remixed by Jordan Peak for Decay Records, and Dennis Ferrer's Loco Dice remix of Son Of Raw on Objektivity shift towards House Music.
Matthew Dekay and Lee Burridge's Out Of Order on Cecille returns to tech house before Silat Beksi's On My Own on Modeight explores Deep Tech House. Yousef's Acid Mondays Remix of That Is Revolution on Circus provides a house-focused final turn for Bolgarin's hour.
