Marco Mei presents his 2019 episode 18 radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform connecting audiences across Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the wider region.
Marco Mei is an Italian DJ and producer with more than twenty-five years of experience behind the decks and in the studio. His formative years coincided with the emergence of Afrobeat and electronic music, and he began his DJ career in the early 1990s.
Over the years, he has developed his skills at House Music and Techno events, appearing at festivals and nightclubs internationally. His touring has included sets alongside Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D'Void.
A residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh helped establish Marco's international DJ career. His club appearances include Arcan in Saigon, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Shore Club in Hoi An, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali and NLO in Minsk.
In 2009, Marco began working with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, under the name Bicycle Corporation. The partnership moved into production early on alongside its DJ work.
Drawing on House and Techno, Bicycle Corporation's releases attracted attention from the outset. The duo signed to 17:44, with further tracks released through Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka and Revox.
Marco and Stefano have released more than fifty tracks and remixes across Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno. Their work has received support from DJs including Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia and Above & Beyond.
Based in Taiwan, Marco's 2013 track Ciao Taipei became a local success and connected him with an international network of artists on Scientific Sound Asia. He works across a wider South East Asian network, is available for bookings through the DJ agency, and broadcasts a weekly show through the radio station.
Marco Mei's 2019 episode 18 on Scientific Sound Asia opens with Loods' Walking Away on Classic Music Company, setting a Deep House foundation. Roberto Surace follows with Joys on Defected, bringing House Music into the early sequence.

Start The Party's Don't Love Me This Way on Glasgow Underground restores a direct House Music pulse before Purple Disco Machine's Swimming Places returns to Deep House via Defected. Moogy Bee then brings Outta Be Dancin' on Deponiente Records into Indie Dance territory.
Mateo Matos' Body 'N' Soul in Ian Pooleys' Soul Mix, released by Glasgow Underground, gives the middle passage another Deep House focus. Mighty Mouse's Midnight Mouse on Space Native follows with a Nu-Disco lift.
Sylvester's You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) in the Michael Gary Remix arrives through Sultra Records and returns the late section to House Music. Debbie Jacobs' Don't You Want My Love in the Full Intention Extended Disco Mix on Glitterbox Recordings keeps the vocal-led club energy moving.
Dexter Jones closes the club-focused run with Don't Stop on Alpaca Edits, returning to Nu-Disco. Danube Dance's Unique on Sony Music Catalog provides a final Pop note.
