Bicycle Corporation brings together Marco Mei, an Italian DJ and producer, and Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Their catalogue includes more than 50 tracks and remixes spanning House Music and Techno.
Marco began DJing in 1991, hosting house music and techno events across Italy with the Urban People collective. This work brought wider recognition, a residency at Pacha and DJ bookings around the world.
Raised in Torino, Italy, Stefano showed an early aptitude for music and mathematics before studying classical piano, percussion and drums. Chopin's compositions and West African Djembes both informed the musical interests that shaped his later work.
As a teenager, Stefano became fascinated by the anonymous figure behind the turntables. The electronic beats then only faintly heard on 1990s Italian radio opened a new chapter in his life.
