After Hours 420 features Hypnotised in the opening hour before guest DJ Zoyzi takes over for the second part of the programme on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music news platform, connecting underground artists and listeners across the region and internationally.
Originally from Ghent, Belgium, he developed his musical background during a period shaped by events such as I Love Techno and 10 Days of Techno. His early DJing covered a range of electronic styles before his direction gradually settled around deeper Progressive House, melodic structures and Techno-influenced rhythms.
That progression became central to his approach behind the decks, with sets built around atmosphere, gradual development and carefully layered transitions. Rather than relying on abrupt shifts, Hypnotised uses pacing and melodic detail to connect deeper and more driving sections of a set.
Together with fellow Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe, he developed After Hours as a platform for underground Progressive House and related electronic music. The programme combines their own selections with guest appearances from DJs and producers working across the international scene.
He has also appeared through radio platforms including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio and DI.FM during his career. These broadcasts extended his reach beyond Belgium while keeping his work closely connected with Progressive House DJs and underground electronic music.
His DJ career has included appearances alongside artists such as Marco Bailey, Purple Disco Machine and Nick Bril. He has also performed at events including Amsterdam Dance Event and Deep on Deck Festival in South Africa, adding an international dimension to his work behind the decks.
In 2015, he became closely involved with AH Digital alongside PatriZe and expanded further into production. Their collaboration People from the Otherworld became an early milestone, reaching number four in Beatport’s Prog House chart while also entering its Techno and Tech House rankings.
The title track from People from the Otherworld was later remixed by Rui Da Silva, adding another established producer to the release. Hypnotised continued building his catalogue through AH Digital alongside releases on Bonzai Progressive, SLC-6 Music and Pro-B-Tech Music.
His Infinity EP became another notable release, reaching number two in Beatport’s Progressive House and Trance charts and number three in its Techno ranking. The release reflected the overlap between melodic, progressive and more driving elements found throughout his production work.
In 2016, he introduced the Man on the Moon alias with Sense on Bonzai Progressive. The project provided another outlet for the atmospheric and melodic side of his sound while extending his production activity beyond releases under his name.
AH Digital remains an important part of his work as both producer and label manager, connecting his studio output with a wider network of Progressive artists. That relationship also gives After Hours a direct connection with producers whose music fits naturally within the programme’s deeper and more melodic direction.
Guest DJ (second hour) Zoyzi.
This edition’s guest DJ is Zoyzi, full name Zoyzi Pap, a Hungarian DJ and producer born in 1985. Her development began with bedroom DJing before expanding into performances at local venues and emerging festivals across Europe.
Progressive House forms the foundation of her sets, while deeper and more Tech-influenced material also plays an important role in her selections. This gives her room to move between melodic progression, deeper grooves and more driving club material without leaving the wider Progressive House framework.
Her work as a producer became more visible through collaborations with Lookslike22 on Amygdala and Catharsis, both released through Modern Architect in 2019. These tracks placed her directly within the Progressive House production scene as well as the DJ circuit she had already been developing through live appearances and radio sets.
She later collaborated with Lemon8 on remixes for Manmademusic Recordings, including Dark Pulse’s Run and D’Wachman’s Grateful. Both remixes first appeared in 2021 and were later included again on the label’s Five Years compilation in 2023.
Her catalogue therefore combines original collaborative productions with remix work centred firmly on Progressive tracks. These releases reflect the same melodic and deeper club direction found throughout her DJ sets.
Her appearance on After Hours 420 places that background within a programme closely connected with underground Progressive House. Her guest set brings a Hungarian perspective to the second hour while maintaining the deeper and more melodic direction associated with the series.
Hypnotised opens After Hours 420 with d.I.M. featuring DJ Erika and Xz on Find Me, establishing a steady Progressive House direction from the outset. Ulises Espindola's bootleg of Nadia Ali's Rapture and Dhany G's remix of Dysco's Sleepless City keep the opening section melodic and controlled, while Anton Make's take on Cassandra Fox adds another familiar vocal reference without breaking the flow.
VeeQue's remix of Belms leads into NAHS and Fabri Lopez, keeping the middle of the hour firmly rooted in gradual progression and deeper rhythmic movement. Leila Scheiwe's remix of Mattim and Christian Monique's unofficial remix of Oxia's Domino close Hypnotised's section with the same measured structure, completing a first hour devoted entirely to Progressive House.
Zoyzi begins the second hour with Clawz SG's remix of Teho's GV, introducing Melodic House and Techno before Nico Szabo's remix of Nick Kaniak returns the programme to progressive territory. Mauro B then brings the first Deep House shift with Control Love, adding a warmer contrast to the more driving material around it.
Starkato and Essco restore the Progressive House focus before Mauro B returns with Choirs In My Head and Beyond Cloud, creating a deeper middle passage through two consecutive Dreamers releases. Stan Kolev's remix of Fran & Co then lifts the set again, followed by Robert Mason's remix of Fractal Architect and Matias Carafa's treatment of Xiasou and Contribute Translation.
Saultloom's Syzygy brings the final section back towards Melodic House and Techno before Room Service's remix of Fran & Co's Lydia closes the episode in the same melodic territory. Across After Hours 420, Hypnotised delivers a fully Progressive House first hour while Zoyzi broadens the second through Deep House and melodic material without losing the programme's gradual, atmospheric progression.
